The story in the newspaper

I don't get the local paper but I do read it on line sometimes. Tonight I see an aricle of a local woman who is being charged with a death of her infant daughter that happened 59 years ago! Yes,this is true! What really got my attention was the woman's last name. It was the same last name of my son's father! It turnes out the woman arrested is my son's grandmother! I was on shock! When I was with my son's father he told me how his mom abused him and his brother. Nothing about a murder was ever mentioned. In the aritcle that abuse was mentioned and some of the stories I heard where mentioned. Apparently this woman has admitted she did abuse her kids. Mostly because she could not control her anger! Also brought up in the article was another infant daughter was found dead in her crib before this! It is a good possiblity she killed the child like the first by throwning against something! She might be or not be charged with that death! This evil woman is 79 years old! How could she have lived with this so long and not said anything? Why did her other children say anything sooner about their sisters? They knew what had happened! This is so crazy! I will not tell my son! If his father does I can't stop him! This story just makes me wish my son never gets to know his father and his family! That family is more of a mess then mine has ever been!

Yes, I saw that. I suppose her children were afraid to say something, or they forgot. I read in the paper that one brother was only 2, so I'm surprised he even remembers.

I am sure the the kids were scared of mom and that is why nothing was ever done years ago. I am amazed someone at 2 can remember anything but I guess it can happen! I found out the local police department has a cold case unit. This is how this crime was solved. So unbelievible!

Wow, Blue! Talk about a little too close for comfort!!! That's just too close. Does your son ever see his father or his grandmother? I read one article on this the other day and wondered pretty much the same as you did....why was nothing said earlier? I understand why the kids may have kept quiet when they were younger and maybe afraid of her but something should of been said by now. And did she have a husband? Good luck with this, Blue.
