American Idol and Stepen Tyler

I have been watching the American Idol this year because last year I didn't watch it and I have to say that I thinking Stephen Tyler looks good for his age. Does anyone here agree with me? I think they have some pretty good singers so far, but I think they just felt sorry for a few of them and let them through and I myself that is going to be a let down for those people, what do you think? And I also think some of those people were so terrible and it was funny, I was thinking they probably just wanted to be on the television for the world to see them what are your thoughts on all this?

I agree,Stephen looks great for his age.I think possibly they might of let some people slide thru because they felt sorry for them.I was just telling someone the other day,they I don't see how that many people can sing so poorly and think they are so good.The show would be boring if it would be good entertainers only.I think to have some variety in the show,they hire people to come up there and make fools of themselves.

I guess Stephen Tyler is not bad for his age; he must be in his early sixties…I just saw above that Lore2009 looked up and discovered he’s 62 which is pretty amazing! Some of the people who audition for Idol were probably told by their parents that they could sing and these same parents should be made aware that to tell a tone deaf child that they have singing talent is a form of child abuse! LOL

Yes, I agree too Steven Tyler does look good for his age! :D It is hilarious the way that people go up there thinking that they're so good and the judges just tell them no and they walk away all sad lol. But they probably do pay some of them to make themselves look like idiots, but that's they're choice. This season shall be very interesting, can't wait to see how judges do and the contestants it's starting to get interesting !
