I just surprised to get all those solicitations from banks about auto insurance. Not only from those annoying phone calls, but also from advertisement letters on my mail box. The banks I have with advertise how great their auto insurance plan going to be, and how much they can reduce my premium, etc..... But still, I haven't seen any good review on that yet. Until then, I have to consider insure with them. On the second thought, I don't like to do all the business at the same within a same institution. Banking and auto insurance the same time? What do you think?

I have never heard of a bank offering auto insurance before. I am not sure I would trust them to give me a good deal or give me enough coverage for my needs either. I like to keep my banking and insurance separate.

The bank has their own auto insurance, or are they affiliated with a company. My bank offers a deal with AAA for group membership, so my insurance is a pretty decent rate considering what it would be if I did not have the group membership.

I'm not sure. This is common in my country. Our banks have different products that includes auto insurance. Well, actually, most of them have tie-ups with insurance companies, which usually are subsidiaries of the banks themselves. But I wouldn't mind conducting business with only one or two financial institutions. It save me time.
