the crotch salute: why?

So many photos show BHO with his hands folded over his crotch while others are saluting our flag. So many show him bowing to Arab potentates and foreign dictators. He disses our allies like England and Israel. He says there are 57 States in our country; there ARE 57 Arab states. He sues AZ for trying to protect our borders. He brings our sovereignty to the foot of the corrupt UN. When he speaks to Hispanics, he calls those who disagree with his policies his and their ENEMIES. He covers Christian symbols and removes "God" from our founding documents. He even covers a statue of George Washington. But, he celebrates Ramadan at the White House. WHY?

Where is god in our founding documents I mean I have read the United States Constitution which is the founding document and the Declaration of Independence. Don't remember there being mentioned a God in either of those documents. I don't see what religious celebration he celebrates has anything to do with it. As for the bowing to the Japanese Emperor that was hardly a bow. As shown through how a Japanese would bow to the emperor which is a full bow (almost in half) which Obama didn't do. Obama bowing would be a show of respect that transcends cultures. As for not saluting our flag or placing a hand over your heart. That isn't a requirement but more of a social thing. The placing the hand over your heart thing is more symbolism than anything else and I hope he is never caught Saluting the flag he isn't in Uniform or in the military they salute the flag.

Maggiepie KUDOS! to you for an excellent comment! I have noticed that our teenager friend, dark_joev, responds to many discussions with the statement that he has read the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. I seriously have my doubts about that. I guess he thinks that will verify his responses.

"Creator" isn't God unless you make it out to be. Creator could be anything not just one thing. That is the point. They never said God or Lord in the Declaration of Independence. And your whole view on the founding fathers is also off. Thomas Jefferson placed his copy of the Quran into the Library of Congress. I have read the entire constitution and I own a copy of the Federalist Papers so maybe your should read them. And whiteheather I can't believe your lack of understanding of the Bill of Rights is completely out of whack you support a Police State through the Patriot Act which is Unconstitutional under the following Amendments to the United States Constitution: 4, 5 and 6th. So maybe you need to do some reading. Now back to the response. Created well that could easily be through Evolution or spontaneous matter formation. Heck I will even throw in another one I think there for I am. Doesn't prove a single thing. Just as the Use of Creator instead of "GOD" Also Jefferson fought to make sure that the country was open to people of all faiths. If you don't know this then you don't know one of the main reasons for the United States to break off from Britain and need to re read that part of history which I could tell you right here it was Religious freedom they where seeking and having a state government that would allow them to practice their religion of their choosing. This Christian Fundementalist Movement continues to have to F up history in order to try and make it something it never was. Also if the Founding fathers where really devout then they wouldn't of rebelled against their King as that is forbidden in the Bible to do. You are to serve your king faithfully because God placed him to lead you. We know Jefferson didn't believe much in God as well he rewote the Bible with out many of the parts in it like No Virgin birth so he is Christan you are Delusional to the maximum. I bet you don't even know the Original Motto of our country. Here it is E pluribus unum (Out of Many One) not In God We Trust that was added later 1959 Original Pledge of Alligence "I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." September 8, 1892 No mention of God that seems werid once again for such a Christan Nation. The United States Constitution does mention "Lord" once it is the last article (VII)but it is being used to reference the Year it says in the year of our Lord. God is used once in the Delcaration of Independence When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. Which how this is worded would match the well known fact that many of the Founding Fathers to be Deist in that they believed God created everything but after that had nothing to do with us hence why Jefferson Throws half of the Bible out when he rewrites it. Right wingers have to attack my age and the fact that I take the US Constitution as a Legal Document which means word for word. And you guys want to change the meaning to fit your agenda that is cool with me I am just not going to stand there and watch you destroy the liberties granted under it. I really do want to know how you can support the Patriot Act and claim you have read the United States Constitution. Oh and the Federalist Papers is the Marketing Campaign for our current form of Government to switch from the Confederation to an Constitutional Government System. Which is the Government form we are right now.

IMO it is because he does not love or respect our country as an American does. He wants to turn it into another Muslim country. It has been his plan all along to show his Muslim allies just how important they are by dissing everything that America stands for.

Whiteheather, you are 150% right! Remember when he had Air Force One fly over NYC in order to scatter people like ants as a signal to his Muslim allies that he could do whatever he wanted with impunity, and that now they could do the same and destroy us however they choose?

somebody here mentioned that your hand over your heart during the pledge isnt a requirement. It isnt. But it IS a sign of respect for the flag that represents the country HE is supposed to represent.
