okay, I've just changed my profile picture to an animated gif (took me about five hours to find a software that can easily turn avi files into animated gifs). If I click my profile it indeed works but in comments it's still a snap-shot. But I've seen it work for others. So how can I change it to be animated in comments, too ? Perhaps it depends on file size or image dimensions?

What a coincidence and i also checked my picture to see if it's really 60x60 So you saw my discussionthanks for congrats. There aren't that many users that have animated picture but i think it's a nice touch. I see yours works now and next time someone asks you'll be able to help as i was today. Have a great day

now that's crazy. When I read John's response the first thing I did was check someone's profile pic that is animated. Guess which one it was? Yours! No, not here. I saw it on the mainpage where you started a thread about winning 120€. Congrats btw!

Hi stk,
You can use the gif reseizer here:
http://www.ashongsoft.com/product/gif-resizer.html
The animation size should only be 60 x 60 or less. Anything bigger will not work so have some fun!

I love animated pics, I used to love sending emails with lots of animation and then one day I realized they didn't move anymore, it was a sad day for me when microsoft stopped animation within emails, I have been told it was for security reasons, to do with the codes I believe...I love animation.

There is a 'gif-resizer' which I think you can find if you search for it which will make it smaller and it will then move.
