Yes, Catana is right, you have some other money-making job for yourself to deend upon. If you're really want to focus on writing fiction novels, then do it, but you money in the bank to support your endeavor. Besides financial, there are other things you have to consider; time, family, friends, lifestyle, etc..These will greatly affects your new career.

First, you would be smart not to reply to sahilsl123 since he's been reported for promoting what is very probably a scam. Making money from fiction is hard, and making it from web fiction is even harder. Unless you already have a reader base from blogging and social networking, nobody is even going to know you're around. If this is something you're serious about, you need to build the platform for it. Most people who write web novels give them away, or at least allow people to read enough for free that they can decided whether it's worth paying for. You should probably have both a blog and and a website. A few writers have a subscription setup. Readers pay a monthly fee for the next installment. But, as I said, this won't work until a lot of people already know your writing and are your fans. But to tell you the truth, unless youre writing is very good and you're willing to work hard at this, you should look for some other way to earn money.

It's hard making money with a published print novel... any writer will tell you. If that's what you want to do, then I'd say go for it. You can promote your novel the same way you promote anything. Get on board with social networking, so set up a facebook, a twitter, and a youtube and make sure to update them with videos, vlogs, blogs, and news about yourself and your web book. Are you going to make money? Ehhh... maybe. Is it going to be a lot? Probably not. But if you want to be a writer then you have to be in it for something other than money.
