Now that Angelo Reyes is on his grave, what do you think will be the implication of his death to the ongoing Senate inquiry? Just wondering. Share your thoughts here! Thank you!

I think the more they should investigate this issues of corruption in the AFP. Therer's no way this should be stop. A life has been wasted and it should not be in vain. This is just a tip of the iceberg and more heads should roll to give justice not only to the soldiery but also to the Filipino people!

I cross my finger hoping a good result from senate investigation. Since AR escaped from that investigation more difficult to find a true person. However, I hope after such situation Gen. Garcia will not receive good result instead the deserving verdict for him. But through our ways of investigation will take more time I think.

i think they will still do the same, willa ct as if nothing happened and continue bashing anyone who's worth bashing and scrutiny just to make themselves feel better. ha. these lawmakers should have just been ditched a long time ago.. why do we even have them when there are no laws being passed by them that protects the majority of the people in this country....!

I think no matter what investigations should continue on. Well for now it is better to expose this anomalies to the public but I think senators should refrain from grandstanding themselves like they are the cleanest government officials in town. I think it is a noble act to expose this wrong practices in the Government and Military but it should not be to the expense that you malign them as well. But I stand firm that senate should continue on in aid of legislation and all involve should be brought to justice.

The effects of any event in this country is always short-term. Therefore, the Senators might tone down the investigations for a few weeks or months, but they will eventually return to their haughty and media-seeking ways. I have ambivalent feelings toward Gen. Reyes - don't like that he's on GMA's side, but the fact is that he was not yet found guilty of corruption, just accused of it. Plus, I did not really like the way Sen. Trillanes put him down. I think that particular incident will cost him his political career in the next election.

I would say it really is an added problem since Gen. Reyes really knows what to say and admit but as the senate mentioned that they will continue the inquiry regarding the AFP corruption scandal, and I believe that they will further investigate the truth behind the corruption but lets hope this they really are sincere in investigating and making the people behind this liable not just doing some kind of pasikat since its a hot topic.
