I just recently went back to church after almost 4 years, and oddly, it was the best feeling I've had in years. I felt like a huge burden had been lifted off my shoulders and I felt felt complete peace with myself. What an experience.

I was born into a Religious Protestant Family, and grew up going to church several times a week, singing in the choir and teaching a boys class in Sunday school. All was well but as I matured I began to question the Theology. It seemed to me that Science and Religion should be going hand in hand, but such was not the case.AS an avid reader, the more I studied the bigger the problem became. Finally I walked away from the church, and have not graced the doors in over 60 years. God is still a big part of my life. Its just that I don't participate in collecting money for the enrichment of the Church!
