Got stepped on my foot

As a woman steps into the jeepney i was riding today, she accidentally stepped on my foot. And of it hurts so much because i was in an open toe sandal. The woman didn't even apologize! I glared back at her as she sits in front of me. She simply looked away sheepishly. 
If i were you , how would you react to it? Would you do the same as what i did?

That wasn't very nice of her to not even apologize. Some people just have never been brought up to apologize or be nice. I would have felt so embarassed and, told the person I'm sorry at least.

That's true. She could have at least apologized. It's the least that she can do because i was hurt when she stepped on me. 
It would be impossible not to notice that you have stepped on someone's foot because you can feel if you have stepped on something bulky , and that's my foot!

Luckily, I don't wear any open-toed shoes...
But if I were wearing flip flops, and somebody stepped on my foot wearing another footwear other than flip flops (then I shouldn't have been wearing flip flops in the first place!), then I would definitely say something about it. And maybe get his or her name just in case I have to claim any health insurance against my foot.

While in Davao i faced some thing similar once in 2004, but i yelled at her, the shameless woman smiled, she was 50+, wearing lot of make-up and perfumes..
