How do you add banners/referral links on your profile/home page

Hello mylotters, can anyone please guide me as to how do we add banners or referral links on to one's profile. Your guidance would help me making it more exciting Thanks in advance

Add an html sortie to your profile. Then copy the html code from your site and paste it on the html sortie. If you have no idea what html sortie is, follow the link Owlwings provided.
