Have you heard of Google Knol?

Google Knol is supposed to be a writing site for informative articles, and the writers can earn from Google Adsense.
Even though it is a few years old, it hardly makes a wave in the writing community.
Have you written anything for Google Knol?
What is your writing experience or your earning experience? Some articles have more than 10,000 page views.
However, the writer base is not that great compared to popular writing sites, such as Associated Content or Helium.
Do you think it is worthwhile to spend time on Google Knol?

First time I hear of it. I did go take a look. Wasn't too crazy about it. Did however read an interesting article on exercising at home. Thanks!
