Are Atheists scared of dying?

I think it is just the same, both religious and non religious.

I am agnostic and I am afraid of dying. I don't understand how anyone can not be afraid of dying, especially if they have a great life- religious or not.

No, I don't think that because there are many religious people out there that are scared of dying. Maybe even more so. Or rather more scared of where they are going to go after life. They live a very careful life and then tend to get drawn into beliefs that cannot be proven(or disproven) for that matter, to the point where they don't really have a life. Plus not all Atheists are the same, they come in many, many forms and have many reasons for choosing not to believe. Just like there are different religions out there, there are different forms of Atheists. This is actually a very fascinating subject to look at. Some people don't believe, because their brains and how they logically process things won't allow them. And there can be holes in religion. If you truly believe though, there is no reason to think too much. Then there are others who have distaste for how many religious people(not everyone mind you), spend a lot of time bashing the beliefs of others, rather then celebrating their own beliefs. And then there are people like you said are in fact scared. So there are many different flavors of Atheists just like there are many different flavors of religions.

After people die, they sleep in the ground. Whether they're religious or not, they sleep in the ground for hundreds-of-thousands of millenniums. That's what I hate about Christianity; no matter how well I explain that THE BIBLE SAYS we sleep (in wait for the Second Thingie, if you like), the VERY PEOPLE I explain it to will go ahead and preach the misunderstanding as if it's solid rock truth. No one 'goes to Heaven when they die'; again, when you die, you are SLEEPING in wait for the resurrection!

Hi,i think they must be scared.Everyone has his scarity.But they are so curious about the world people don't know.And the strong curiosity help them to overcome the scarity and difficulties.
