got myself my first baby, which is a boy, and he's already 1 year and 2 months. have been feeding him solid foods for quite some time now. but i really don't know his favorite foods, as everything we feed him seems to be his favorite one. but i think from what i've observed he gets to be a crying baby when he sees a banana. what is your baby's favorite?

My son will be seven months soon and he doesn't like babyfood so I give him alittle bit of mash potatoes and he loves them. I still try to feed him baby food and its a waste of time and money because sure enough he spits it back in my face like something you would see on a tv commercial. One time I left a bowl of Oodles of Noodle on my bed underestimating my son and when I turn around my bowl was spilled over and he cupped a very large amount of noodles in his hand and put them to his mouth. I could of swore he was really eating them but I had to take them away and clean him up.

funny story you got there, DanaS2011. he've pretty much developed his baby skills, considering his age. maybe your son will turn out to be a genius someday.. =) i never really heard of a baby spitting food directly to the feeder from actual parents here. never really knew if that happens, because my son, who is 1 year and 2 months old, eats almost anything that i put into his mouth. anything edible, that is..

Our son is 16 months now - and he pretty much eats everything too!! Yah, it's hard to say what exactly are their favorites when they like everything, right? He can be a sweet tooth too - but the funny thing is he has a limit and won't want anymore after a few bites - so we're happy about that (our older daughter will eat all the sweets in the world if you let her!). Wow - I'm sitting here thinking too hard what exactly is his favorite food . . . well, he seems to really enjoy foods with a lot of stuff ingredients in it - like my spaghetti sauce and soups (lots of veggies/meat). Oh - he likes peanut butter too - he even has a special dance for it - ha ha!!

Each baby is different, same as each human being is different. I have two children (daughters) - elder one is 3½ and the younger one is 1½. My elder daughter loves bread, toast, pasta, jam, cheese, etc. The younger one loves rice, bread, etc. In fruit, my elder one will not eat apples and grapes, but loves banana. The younger one loves apples and grapes, but will not eat banana. Finding out what children love is part of the adventure. And like any adult, may be even more so than adult, they change their preferences as well. Usually, most children loves chips, pasta, sandwiches, etc. Have fun finding out what your son likes and loves.
