And because radical feminism recommends putting women first, making them the primary concern, this approach is accord lesbianism “an honoured place’ as a form of ‘mutual recognition between women’ (Chris Beasley,1999)

Radical feminism is only one type of feminism that one can find. There are many types of feminism. There are those who don't think that women come first, but that men and women are equal. Personally, I don't agree with radical feminism. But I do agree that men and women are equal.

There are many reasons which should not differentiate between men and women, but the reality has always appear to be different.

The solution is the point of view between men and women are equal and mutually supportive. Western Gender Equality many kinds. There really brings gender equality but there is also a radical feminism. So, we can not judge directly or give judgment. Because we have to find out.

If you want to see the emancipation of a good woman, yes in Japan and Korea. Women get the same education but have different obligations.

I believe in gender equality but I don't think that such idea can be implemented thoroughly in any society. I believe that there is always a power struggle between male and female - there are always something clashing between the two genders to fill the entire archive of human history. The only thing that I hate about issues like these is that some people on one side is being hypocritical or being too demanding without backing up with some evidence or logic on their stance. Speaking of radical feminism, I approve of the notion of equality as long as women who support equal rights don't complain on the not-so-pretty consequences of the granting of some rights. Equal pay that might lead to ulcers or stress should be experienced by both genders and an excuse bordering on anything gender-specific or sexist is outrageous.

Gender is a parameter of our physical bodies. Since we are really spiritual beings in our true natures, we are equal. I insist that all the women in my life are equal.

I don't believe in "true" gender equality- You'd have men fighting women in rounds of boxing; you'd have to make it so that if a man beat up a women, it'd be the same as if a man beat up a man. "Gender equality" just doesn't work- men are different from women FACT, most easily recognizable if you compare physical features. Now it is starting to get to the point where women are starting to have more rights, because people are afraid of not hiring a women, because she may sue saying it is due to sexism, and other things along this line..... Equal human rights, on another hand, is good.

I agree, it is different now. Man and women now both carry the burden of bringing food to the table. Women now create names of their own and keep decent jobs as well. Men can be the keeper of their home in turn. So both should be given equal rights I believe. All of us are entitled for equal rights - men, women, gay or lesbian. Gender should not matter.
