Hi Friends, Sachin practiced left handed at Bangalore. He didn't even wear glows! It surprised one and all. And to top it all the 8 balls he faced, he hit 7 sixes! Though Sachin has played every shot to perfection, he hasn't tried the new Switch-Shot. Is he planning to use it against England? Or may be he was just having some fun! Share your thoughts. Happy Mylotting!

I have read that news today and I think it might be just practice purpose only or might be the part of a team strategy. I personally don't want sachin to play switch shot as it can result in injury and he has no time to recover and play again with seeing his age. He has lots of conventional and non conventional shots in his armory so he doesn't need that kind of risk to be taken. Best of luck INDIA!

Yes, Sachin doesn't need to play such shots. He can score runs with his varied range of shots which he already plays. Happy Mylotting!

He has very good range of shots. My favorite one is backfoot punch he plays which goes straight down the ground.

Wow that a good news I think if sachin tries that shot during the match against England i would certainly Peterson would think he would be required to find a new shot as he till now hits the Switch-shot the best and when sachin would try it then it would be going to get better :-) hope to see that shot

You have a point! Kevin is well known for his switch shot, so definitely he might feel so. Or rather he can feel proud thinking that even Sachin tried that shot! Happy Mylotting!

Actually Sachin is a left handed person outside of cricket. He writes left handed and is more deft with his left hand. I have seen him practise with his left hand quite a few times before in the nets. So I am not very surprised that he can hit them long with the left hand. But I would rather leave the switch shots to mere mortals who have to improvise to score runs. Sachin can score runs with a straight bat, so let him continue to do so. Cheers! Ram

Well i dont think Sachin needs to play switch hit or something like that when he is more than capable of hitting good balls out of the park at will on his day.He has been in tremendous form since last 2-3 years so all he needs to do is to stay on the crease of 5-7 overs and we will see another century easily. It was surely some moments of fun which were taken seriously and sensationalized by media.

I do agree that Sachin might be having just some fun and media just started to speculate about the possibility of switch-shot. Happy Mylotting!
