ponting's arrongancy against his run out with the match against zimbabwe has created a shame for the australian cricket board. being a successful captain he must know to control his temper.ICC has warned for his action with fine. hope he may change his behaviour and set an example for the other player.

I don't think its shameful act but an natural reaction and this is not happened first time. There are several incidents in which more than that happened. I think ICC must behave maturely because it will hurt soul of the cricket. Do they want humans act like robots? without emotions no sport can survive and emotions are the beauty of any game. I think trying to create hyip for such a little incident is not favoring of cricket in any way.

ICC did fine him for his offence. But they said that he did not intentionally break the T.V. He put his visor on the bag and it bounced off and hit the TV and did a minor damage. So they are saying that it was not a temper tantrum. :) Cheers! Ram

Well I must add on to this that this is not the first time that any Australian cricketer has done any uncalled action. It has been a habit for the Aussies to just show their unwanted attitude to other players or teams or even other nations. Ponting no doubt has been a phenomenal cricketer all through his more than 15 years of international cricket. But still their have been many instances where he has shown that he lack the gentleman spirit that is associated with the game of cricket. His arrogance is quite evident with his behavior that shows he lacks the paatience that is kind of a jewel for a captain. He needs to learn it from prior Aussie captions like Mark Taylor, Steve Waugh etc.

Ricky Ponting - An Australian cricketer
Hi, Ricky Ponting's nature has not changed ever since he has been in the Australian squad. The other day he broke a TV because according to him the LBW was given with malice intention. But being one of the great names should not he had controlled his temper? ICC must take a stern action r other players also would get inspired to do some thing in future.
