Who do you think will win the Redemption Island Duel between Francesca and Matt?

Physically speaking, Matt has the advantage because he is clearly more athletic than Francesca. But it would be dumb to assume that the producers would design a physical challenge at Redemption Island. It will most likely be an endurance challenge, if not mental challenge because that way both castaways will have equal shot at winning, irregardless of whether a male or female is competing. But just wanted to know who you think will get a second chance at the game or who will be out for good?

I want to keep Franchesca because she is funny, People all over messageboards have hype over her. she is a very rare character to see in survivor. Plus she quits her Job and sold her house just to be in this show, so her sacrifice should be worth it.

Seriously? Wow, she must really have wanted to be in this game. Sad to hear about that and now I am rooting more for her to stay in it. It is just sad that the people who deserve it more get to stay while those that had been on 3, 4 times are getting more time out there.

I'm not losing hope with Franny because do the redemption Island in the israeli version of survivor is dominated by a woman for 4 weeks. Then do you remember in our luckluster Filipino version, A tranny dominated the redemption Island.

Of course, I starkly remember that. In fact, s/he almost won it all after getting the second highest votes at the Finals. I think this kind of drama is what the producers are banking on with REdemption Island.

I do not know who will win. I see Matt as more of a physical challenge winner and Francesca as more of a mental challenge winner. I would like to see both of them returned to the game. I am rather shocked that they got rid of Matt to tell you the truth. That guy Phillip reminds me of one of my clients from back when I worked in the mental health field... yah he has that great of an impression on me! I am hoping he will be gotten rid of next! I am really liking this Ralph character and I hope he gives Russell a good run for the money! I am to the point that I cannot stand Russell period!

True. But I don't think they will produce a really physical challenge to make it fair for all competitors. I can wait to see some redemption island action and I hope Matt and Francesca will get the redemption they deserve :)

THey always have to be fair in the challenges...even with the tribes. so many people with so many different abilities, young, old, short, tall etc. Tribes are a joint venture so they have a bit of leway there but even individual challenges...have to be ones that ALL can equally do so the Redemption Islands have to be like the individual ones... maybe even easier as they are space limited. Last weeks was pretty cool. I was cheering for Fran and she had a good start but the ties just weren't there. I thought it neat that they had 2 members from each tribe "sitting in" on the challenge tooa nd that that one tribe members told Russel that Matt went home instead of Fran....he is going to be SOOOOOO shocked!!!

Of course, but the first challenge on this season was clearly to Zapatera's favor since they had more men and stronger women on their tribe as compared to Ometepe. But I think it's just one of those breaks, but I do think that Matt has a fair chance of winning against Russell. What do you think about the second RI duel?
