Pakistan Cricket Team

Pakistan were considered as underdogs until very recently. Although they won a series in New Zealand nobody considered them to be serious contenders for the world cup. Having beaten Sri Lanka, one of the prospective winner of the cup, Pakistan have now declared themselves that they are also in the race to win the cup. As Shahid Afridi declared before the world cup that he wants to win the cup for his people devastated by militancy.

Pakistan has always been a dangerous side. They are unpredictable and the day when they get everything right, they can beat any team. Yesterday they got most pieces of their game in place except of course their fielding. They need to replace Kamran Akmal if they really want to win the world cup though. Cheers! Ram
