Okay friends, India tied the match. A splendid result you can say! But are you satisfied with bowling performance of India? England actually didn't have such a batting depth. After top 5 batsmen they don't have much batting left. So somehow India managed to escape! But against some other top teams India could have lost this match. So India need to improve their bowling seriously. What do you think?

Hi Wismay, Until Zahir khan broke the threatening partnership as as they were progressing closer to win, I thought India would lose he game. But Zahir Khan's those quick wicket, India came closer to winning the match. But I feel Dhoni did a mistake by sending Piyush to bowl and was hammered hard the match once again seemed to be in India's favor. An I did not like the idea of sending Munaf for the final over. If he would not let the batsman score a sixer India would surely win this match. Ir was nothing but India's weakness in the bowling department. As the game tied what would be the points like?

Hi Krajibg! You are right, Zaheer bowled fabulously in the power play and brought India on the threshold of victory. But there were no other bowler who could help India to win in the last two overs. But it is true that pitch was placid and batting on it was easier. If they can't defend 338 then they need to think over their bowling seriously. India and England will share 1-1 point and will be having 3 points each from two games they have played so far. Happy Mylotting!

Exactly, there should have been another pacer to support Zahir. But who was there to prompted. Indian bowler at the fad end of the first innings took their job quite casually.

i am not at all happy with the performance of the bowlers. we struggled against a weak team like bangladesh and lost this match almost because of our bad bowling and so i think it is right time indian coaching staff and the bowlers themselves do something about it. the most important thing is that the conditions should be ideal for out bowlers but still they are not doing well.

You are right. Indian bowling is struggling though they did well against Australia in the practice match. Unless they improve India has to depend only on batting. But batsmen cannot score 330 or 350 in every match! Happy Mylotting!

I actually think India was lucky to emerge with a tie in this match. It was a closely contested match with neither batting units deserving to lose. But both the bowling units were poor and did not deserve to win. So this result was a fair one as per me. I also think the flat subcontinent pitches mean that no total here is safe. Cheers! Ram

This match shows the faults persisted in both the teams. a great fielding backlog ofr india again proved and costs the price.. Its a damn exciting match but I wish England would win it. The skipper of english team was the man of the day.

Hi Aditya! yes, England skipper did a fantastic job and almost ensured the win. But England middle order failed. It shows their weakness and if any team gets two or three quick wickets then England will be in trouble. Regards
