i heard many people saying that sachin will retire after playing world & heard lots of people saying that he is thinking of retirement. but i think sachin will retire after making many centuries & ensuring nobody comes closer to his recird. & break all other records. do u think sachin will retire after playing this world cup?

surely if India wins the World cup then sachin may retire, but if india dont wins, then sachin may not retire, but dont meant that he will play till next world cup.

well i think he is playing well and if he is not facing any fitness problems, then he can easily continue. there is no problem at all and if he is able to score and that also in the fashion that he showed in the last match i think we still don't have a player who can replace him. and so there is no reason for him to retire. yes if there are injuries or something like that, then yes he may opt out.

I am pretty sure that Sachin will retire from ODIs after the world cup. But he will continue in the test matches for at least another couple of years as per my reckoning. So I think this is going to be his last ODI tournament. Cheers! Ram

Hi aimakarikal, Probably this is his last world cup hinting that he would go for retirement after couple of years. I do not think the century thing is not there in his mind. After completing a 20 years dedication and bringing glory to the nation when Sachin would call it a day it would really be end of an era. And I am sure for long long years to come no Sachin like all rounder would be in the cricket field.

I dont think that sachin gonna announce his retirement soon after world cup. Of course, considering his age factor also we can expect him to play international matches for the next coming 2 years atlesat. And by the way , we can expect superb innings of him in this world cup. I just love his play.

I dont think so sachin is going to retire after the worldcup I believe he can still play a year or so for his team and this is what he would be thinking and team management also dont want to lose him
