Would You Mind Having Ads On the Players NFL Jerseys?

This is an idea the NFL Team Owners are thinking about doing for additional streams of income. I guess you could say their branding the players. I've heard they have put ads on pro soccer players which they have been doing for years. Although I don't like the idea of this I wouldn't be happy with it. There's just too many damn ads to begin with everywhere. I want players and their jersey numbers just to identify the athlete and not have a corporate brand or logo on it. If this were to happen then lets think for a minute on what ads would be on what players. Michael Vick/Pet Smart Any other ideas for ads on particular players or does it suck just to have the ads. For personally no more ads anywhere please. I'm thinking about canceling my cable because there is just too many commercials. I'm wasting too much of my life when it could just be watching commercial free tv with just my netflix. No wonder Netflix is doing so well. Their very affordable without commercials.

I wouldn't mind at all. I think if paid the right amount of money a company should beable to promote anywhere. They pay these pro lots of money to promote their products. I also think they should let he player celebrate their touchdowns. I miss that part of the game. I got so excited just watching them. Back-flips, the icky shuffle, cartwheels etc.

i didn't know they now have a rule to not let players celebrate touchdowns. that sucks as thats just an extra rule thats not needed.

I'm surprised it hasn't already been done in the NFL. It's easy money for the Franchise. ( I'm english and don't really understand how a team is a franchise and can be moved to another area). We do it in Soccer here and have done since I can remeber so it's not a problem to me, however just recently it went for being one sponsor on the shirt front, to some teams having more on the back of the shirt and on the shorts, it is not a good look. I imagine if it does happen in the NFL,then shirt fronts will be first, but it'll probably evole to players having their own sponsors name on their helmets. I hope it doesn't happen for your sake's, I like a little bit of tradition in sport. But I think, because of the revenue that can be made, It will happen
