Matt won the first EVER redemption island duel & Russell was voted off...

How much more perfect can this episode be? first off, I was a bit sad that Fran had to go because I think she is likable and smart. But I am also glad that matt had to survive through that because I think he could manage to beat anyone who is sent to redemption island in future challenges. Plus, there is more drama with Matt returning into the game. I just hope that the producers would not intervene (ehem) just so they can get Russell to be back in the game - that would just be perfect if he is gone for good! I also love Fran's parting words for Matt - Give 'em hell. I wish those two would have stayed because there are other annoying castaways left that I wish were not on the show (read: Phillip and Stephanie).

I'm sad to see Fran go, anyway in her exit interviews she said Next to Boston Rob the next most dangerous player is Natalie, she was 2nd in charge and she is very sneaky, they only make her look innocent on Tv because she is a teenager.... Now that is something...
I know Phillip an Steph were annoying but with Fran gone, we need them for entertainment, You dont want a merger of quiet under the radar people.
I hope under the radar people will at least try to be entertaining in their confessionals.

Yes, I realize that too. But I can't stand Steph's nerve in last night's tribal. But I would love to see Russell's get kicked in the next duel. Praying hard for Matt to survive through this!!!
PS: did you notice how Andrea was cheering on Matt? Haha

Hahahaha. I have no clue, don't really watch jersey shore. But Sarita seems to be a tough girl, but we'll have to see though. And Grant is another favorite of mine. If he can avoid the drama at the early part of this game, then he'll be good cause I know he can handle the individual challenges.. hopefully, they'd be too focused on BROb to even think about voting G off.

LOL she is just being Italian,,,,Not stereotyping but most Italians on Survivor in the past are aggressive and hot headed. but we have like 6 Italian American castaways this season. Boston,Rob,Steph, Sarita,Grant and natalie.... Though we didnt see any aggresive ness with Natalie,Sarita and Grant.....
It seemed like the popularity of Jersey show makes CBS loves casting Italian Americans....

No more perfect that I can see! Russell voted off in my life time! I was so happy I was shaking and clapping.And Ralph is a man after my own heart. He is not taking any of Rusell's guff. I never had a problem with Matt. I like Rob. The girls are all iffee at best in my book. Phillip was a loon and nothing he has done has redeemed him my eyes. I am excited to see next week. I sure hope, but know he will, that Russell doesn't win his way back into the game. UGH!

haha. I had nearly the same reaction as you. Ralph is indeed stealing Russ' airtime but I think he is smarter than he seems, so he is a deadly player. He had a close call though with a 3-way tie and him not playing the idol. I was really satisfied with the look on Russ' face when he realized that julie did not flip!
PS: I hate Stephanie too. See the way she defended RH at tribal? Ugh!

Stephanie is a piece of work, that is for sure. I like Ralph and his ability to slide around behind Russell. Russell is such a snake in the grass. Ugh! Ralph was slick with the immunity idol find. Go Ralph! I am in his cheering section. Need to keep all the creeps in their own little corner of the show. Let them find it out between themselves. Hehe

True! Ralph is a character, much like Philip is. I am glad too that Russell seems to have finally met his match. It was a classic moment when he used his infamous line: You are either with me, or against me. - BUt this time, it did not work on Ralph!!

Well all I can say is that I hope Matt kicks Russell's butt when it comes time! I am hating on Russell this year. I don't know exactly why he is getting on my nerves so bad but he is. I hope Matt rips him a new one! I was glad that they voted Russell off and I was very glad that Julie was not crazy enough to be swayed by Stephanie & Russell! I was so afraid that she was going to jump on board with Russell and his crew. Glad she saw through the bs that Russell brings. I am really liking Randy too!

AGREE!! I mean, Jeff likes to hype him up but I think it is only making him seem grander than he actually is. there are so many other better players that were not given a second chance on the show. So, why him?

I hope so too. I really think that Matt has the ability to go all the way and beat other RI competitors, but it would be most satisfying to see Russell leave this game for good. Even when he's clearly outnumbered, I can believe how he remains to be that cocky!!
