I'm hoping to be traveling to Thailand this summer for a summer class. I can't wait! I'm hoping to save up enough money. I may have to take out a loan because its a wopping 3,547 dollars. Jeeze how about a random number. But anyway. I really hope I can go! I'm so excited. I think if I miss out on this trip I'll really be upset about it later in life.

Wow! That much eh?! How long will you stay in Thailand? Well, I think it will be worth your time and money since you will be encountering a different culture than your own. And the food...ahhhh... ... I like Thai food. If you are into exotic dishes, this is the place to be. hehehe... Also try to watch their cultural dances. That would be an experience for you also.

Its for 3 1/2 weeks. & it also pays for the airfare. Which is totally awesome.

Go! By all means and have fun! Trips like this doesnt come to often. I really envy those who travel a lot. Given my situation (have 2 small kids), I really cant go that far for now. Maybe when the kids get older and bigger, lol! Enjoy! It'll all be worth it!

I have a disabled toddler son age 3 and a baby daughter aged 21 months. I still travel overseas and we have a fantastic time. It is possible to travel with young children and enjoy the experience.

That is a lot of money. I am sure that you could independently arrange a cheaper trip to Thailand if you like. You could get a flight to Bangkok and then travel around on local trains, buses and ferries. It would be economical for you to stay in cheap guest houses. In order to afford my trip around the world I let my cottage out and got a working holiday visa for Australia. I hope that you will get your trip but at a cheaper cost.

I actually believe its a pretty good cost because it includes airfare and a place to stay for 3 1/2 weeks, travel within the country and food.

Wow, fantastic. That is a lot of money to spend on a holiday to Thailand. I don't think that Thailand cost that much but then again it is because you are going to spend weeks there. Enjoy it and make the most of it. I would be happy if I can travel just a week in China, Korea and Japan. Ah, I need to save all the money, first...
