Russell - Goodbye for good; Congrats to Matt on Redemption Island Streak!

There is no better way for me to describe how it turned out. The biggest satisfaction in my life as a Survivor fan - to see Russell go down like that. And to think it was Matt who beat him, which is admirable since he managed to keep his calm. :) I hope Matt stays strong at REdemption Island for a chance to get back in this game :) Definitely my favorite this season!!

Now he feels what its like. I know this sounds rude but i was laughing from the whinings of Russell fans in survivor messageboards...
I have a feeling he will try celebrity apprentice, after all he claims he owns an oil company....
Anyway on his exit interviews, he have lots of revelations.....
Ralph is not the leader of the 6 man alliance, the puppet master of that alliance is Sarita but look at the damn editing, they make it look like Ralph and Steve are the ones that runs that alliance and they make Sarita none existing...
Russell have an alliance with Dave from the start but Dave decided to withdraw because he doesnt want alliances with Stephanie...
According to Russell, Christa is not the sweet innocent girl we think she is, she is said to be more aggressive than Steph but editing favors Steph.

Anyway in Parvati's blog she is very mad about what happened to Russell, she think that he is "bullied"
If Boston Rob gets voted off I will be satisfied (I hate him since marquesas, best moment of my life is when Neleh, kicked his butt in a challenge)

LOL you are so right. I doubt if this will be the end of Russell's television career. I see him on some other reality show as well.. he could be the next hated Amarosa on Apprentice!!

Yes, I have read Parvati's blog. But even when he is ousted, Russell still lets his ego get the better of him. I just think that Ralph was stupid enough to fall for it though. Why in the crap would you let others know, especially with people from the other tribe, that you have the hidden immunity idol? His ego definitely got the better of him and he wanted to show it to Russell's face that he outlasted him. FOr how long? Who knows but I am not a fan of Ralph either.
I was just extremely happy that Matt lives for another day. I think he can do good against Kristina and I can't wait for him to be back in the game. Keepng my fingers crossed on that!

I didn't get to watch this week, but will catch up this weekend, but glad to hear Russ is gone! I just hope it stays like that and the "powers that be" don't do something to "allow" him to come back.
I can't get an answer to that question either. Why do they tell they have the idol!?!??!?!? Even if your own aliance...history shows aliances can and often are broken so where did the "look out for number 1" go? IT is so stupid to tell ANYONE, much less everyone that you have the idol and I can't understand why they do.

I watched the episode last night. Was not impressed with Russ's crying spirt. But he came back really fast with his arrogance. But he said that this will be the last time EVER on Survivor...do you think it will be? I just hope they don't do a "surprise" comeback and bring him back this season! IF they do, that will be REALLY bad for them as far as treating everyone fairly and all.
It would have been good if they'd put Russ and Rob on Rem.Island...can you imagen the arrogance between them!?!?!??
But I think Matt is doing well. And for "the little guy" to beat big, bad Russ...Priceless!

Yeah... I was quite happy too! Russell was confident because he even called Matt a "rookie". But I think Russ found some new respect for Matt for beating him, because let us admit Russ can be a powerhouse at challenges too. I hope Matt could keep his momentum and go all the way!!

In Survivor:Samoa, I would say Rusell played his cards well, he knew that Foa Foa members are listening to him and goes where ever he wants them to go. I do believe Rusell could have won that season no matter how evil his ways are. In heroes vs. villains, Parvatti made him look stupid. I guess redemption island is a slap on his face. I just hope this would be he last time I would see Rusell in Survivor, together with Rob.

True. I think RUssell got robbed in Samoa, but he was never close in the Heroes vs Villains season. I also agree, I think Redemption Island is a reality check of sorts. His ways of playing this game has come back to haunt him.
