Macaroni and cheese pizza?

Saw something interesting today at a pizza "all you can eat". I couldn't figure out what it was, and had to ask someone...and then it was clear! They baked a regular pizza crust...then spread macaroni and cheese on top and then toasted it just a minute for the cheese and noodles to hold on to the crust. I didn't try it as it just isn't my "thing"...but I bet my grand daughters would have loved it! I bet all kids would love it! Give it a try and let us know!

This sounds like the Macaroni and Cheese pizza you can get at Cici's. I know lots of kids that love it... but I guess I am just not one for it. It seems little weird tasting and the macaroni seems a little "fake tasting" to me. I guess everyone has there own taste likes and thats not one of mine.

Seems everyone goes to CiCi's. Don't have one of those here. I was at Shakey's. I don't want to try it..not my taste anymore. LIke Mac and cheese but on crust...just to old for it I guess! But seems quite a few do like it! A great quick meal or snack!

I am surprised you do not have a Cici's close to where you are. They are pretty much everywhere. I actually do not like Cici's at all but some people I know do so they want to go there. So when they choose lunch they go there but I never choose Cici's. It just does not taste that good in my opinion.

My son loves this. He had it at Cicis pizza. He was upset when the one down here closed down unexpectedly since that is the only pizza place that we know of that makes macaroni and cheese pizza.

I was at Shakey's. IF he loves it that much, why not teach him how to make it at home? A box of Kraft Mac and cheese (or whatever he likes) and a pizza dough like in the dairy section where you just pop the can and roll out the crust...hum..sounds like something good for a kids party. But teach him how to make it. All men should know how to cook a few things to make it through life!

Great! I had never heard of such a thing, but I know it will be loved by all. The woman I talked to at the buffet was in late 20's and she said she loved it!

Hi. coffebreak. I know that the pizza chain was offering something similar like this in 2009. I did not get to try it though. I wanted to. I would love to try it, I love macaroni and cheese. I also know that my kids will love it too!

I didn't try it...just not my style! But I asked my 10 years old grand daughter about it, if she's ever had it and she said she loves it! Guess I am behind the times anymore! I'll just take mine seperate!

OMG! This seems to be the destruction of the pizza and the macaroni (I think you mean pasta with this word). :(

I agree! Don't mess with my pepperoni pizza! As far as the macaroni vs. pasta...it is elbow macaroni noodles. I know they are all called pasta, but this is what mac and cheese is. Yeah, you can use other styles of noodles for the same effect, but authentic "kid loves" mac and cheese is elbow macaroni!

I bet I would have loved it, had I had the opportunity to try it. That sounds really really good. I wonder if they'll ever have something like that at a pizza buffet here in Canada? It sounds wonderful to me.

Why not bake it at home? Get a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese or whatever your fav M&C is, get pizza crust...that kind in the dairy section by Pillsbury where you pop the can and roll out the crust would be great. Bake the crust, add the M&C and toast a second....give it a try and let us know!

I don't think I've heard of that one. But I do hear about things like a pbj pizza you can get at Goofy's cafe or something like that. I have no idea what they are talking about either. I wouldn't mind trying it. Though I wonder if they add a ton of cheese to it aside from the amt normal mac'n cheese has... you know like restaurant delicious mac'n cheese.

Sounds too complicated to make.
