Not sure if this video was filmed in Wigan but I'd like to think so. I don't think The Verve exist anymore which is a shame because I saw a live gig on the telly once and it was one of the best gigs I've ever seen! Awesome! As a Wiganer I'm pretty sure that it was not shot in Wigan. At least, I don't recognise any of the street scenery and especially that last shot at the very end which appears to show a public building with a pillared portico - there's nothing like that in Wigan. It might have been shot in Manchester or Liverpool. Being 6 foot 4 and weighing in at 200 lb, I'm pretty sure that it would not be me who'd go flying if a skinny specimen like him walked into me!

Never heard of the Verve. And the music was okay, but I couldn't handle watching the video, because the way he was walking through people bugged me. I can't stand it when people do that without saying I'm sorry or something. I do and I'd expect the same courtesy.

They will be actors though, he's not walking down the street willy-nilly, he'd get lamped (hit) if he'd done that in real life.

I really don't know, I remember seeing the vid on either MTV or VH1, but I really can't remember how it did. I didn't even remember the song, just the vid!

I'm always the one (without fail) that has to get out of the way, otherwise people would walk into me with alarming frequency. So rude but there you go. People would much rather look down at their phones than look up to see where they are going..sometimes whilst crossing the road.
