i couldn’t help but admire other’s uniforms

When I saw the new uniforms of those in our affiliate company, I couldn’t help but compare ours which were new, last August 2010. 
Not that because ours is old, but I admire their uniforms because they are nicer in style , color and quality of the materials used.
I couldn’t help but wish that the one year period is over so we could choose new styles for our next uniform. It seems to me that I don’t like wearing our uniforms now.

Haha, I can relate with you, I remember when I was still working, I also feel the same. Whenever we have uniform and the other companies as well, we can't stop ourselves comparing theirs to us. Sometimes we even envy their uniforms for having better styles and colors or maybe that just suits to our likings...hehe
I don't why it seems that the uniforms that I want to wear are usually from the other companies...hehe but as they say, no matter what uniform or clothes we wear, its beauty will depend on how we carry/wear them... who knows people from other companies also admire/envy our uniforms...

Yes, that's very true. In fact, our other affiliate just have their new uniforms and i couldn't help myself from envying them. They have nicer uniforms that ours.
But like you said, it's the way we carry our clothes. As a consolation to myself, I think i carry my uniform well .

I remember being in a job where the uniforms were provided for. Although some of the pairs were a bit 'cheesy', I did like it that we didn't have to think about what we would wear. Only the ties were the ones that we have to be concerned about to express our personalities.
But I am glad I don't have to wear uniforms nowadays though.

How i wish we too have no uniforms anymore. I prefer going to the office in my denim pants, stilletto and blazers! I feel so in corporate look with that!

Yes new uniforms seem to always be nice then the older ones. I am sure your company will get wind and want to upgrade soon too. Some companies make good changes with uniforms while others at times I wonder what they were thinking.

What's good with our company, is they let us choose what design and material do we like for our uniforms. So as early as now, when we saw the other affilite's new set of uniform, we are excited of having new ones too.
Unfortunately, it will still be on August, when we get to change into another new sets.

Oh god why do componies implements uniforms? It is very boring to wear same clothes daily.We had already wear uniforms in school and college.Now it feels very boring to wear it on workplace also.Fortunately I don't have uniform in my present company which is MNC.But in future I have to change job for better salary structure and many companies I am planning to apply have uniforms at workplace.I will definately glad if I get the job in company where dresscode is not essential.

Well, i like having uniforms. As long as it has a good design that fits everybody, i wouldn't mind. At least having uniforms is cheaper than buying clothes, every now and then, when they get faded already.
