My daughter is on break this week. Today in fact is the last day. We had visit from out of town family. She has had a few play dates. But we did not travel. Many of her friends did. And often do. We usually stay put.

We don't travel much at all. My kids will have a week off later in April. I asked my husband to take that week off as well to help out with the kids home all week. Chances are I will use that week to pick up extra hours at work since I don't have to worry about who's watching the kids while I'm working.. and hubby and the kids can spend some quality time together which they don't get much of.

Sounds like a good plan. Dad time is always nice.

In my home country spring is from March to May. There is Easter which will be in April this year. There will also be a May half term. I will be taking my children to a bird reserve for a look at all the lovely looking birds in early April. It will be in summer that I take my children up to Yorkshire for a long weekend. I hope that you are having a wonderful spring break and your daughter too.

Not usually. Typically I stay in my town during spring break. I don't mind though. I think my family and i HAVE in the past but it's far from a common practice during spring break.

I sometimes travel during spring and summer break. Not out of country though. I actually haven't been to many places in my country so I use my vacations in getting to know some new places, but it's not during all the vacations.
