Idea for April fools

When it comes to grandchildren I could talk all day about my two. My Grandson is quite the kid and I often thought we should be keeping a journal of some of the stuff he has said and done. His latest took the cake. They have a double sink in the kitchen and rather than a separate hot and cold tap they have the lever type and also have a sprayer. I'm sure you all know what I mean, you just pull the thing out of the hole it sits in and squeese the knob and the sprayer comes on to spray your dishes. Well... Grandson hears his dad tell my daughter he would be right back and do up the dishes as she was busy. Grandson quickly asks his mom for an elastic band, he then points the sprayer in the direct path and with the help from this elastic band he sgueeses the knob down. You know what happened next... Dad comes along gives the lever a flip and instead of the water running in the sink the sprayer soaked dear ol dad and number one grandson, mom and dad all had a good laugh. I thought that would have been a good Aprils fools joke. What is your latest grandchild story?

well as all grandmas here im always in for a good grandchild story. one time i told my grandson he could not have any more chocolate cookies till after he ate the evening meal as hed already had what i thought was to much. i put them in the cabinet up over a counter, high. we went out to water the plants. in a couple minutes he said he had to go to the bathroom. he was gone so long i began to worry. so i went in and he was standing by that counter looking guilty. i said was you going to try and get those cookies and he said, no. so a little after the evening meal, i went to get the cookies down and more was gone he said i think i heard a mouse in there grandma or maybe coco got them. i told him there was no mouse in my house and that coco had no way of reaching them and i didnt appreciate the lieing to me. although it was all i could do to keep from laughing or feeling sorry for him. so he owned up to it and said sorry for lieing. i jumped up on the counter and ate some real quick cause i really wanted them. he was about 7yrs then. but he learned he shouldnt lie to grandma. lol.

I am genuinely sorry to hear that because Grandchildren are very special little people. My daughter and I have many times said, "What the heck did we talk about before the kids" We've had many laughs and good times. I hope you are able to be a big part of your Grandsons life in the years to follow. That's wonderful that he is a very good boy, because as you know I am sure there are a lot of haywire kids these days. Thank You for being loyal and know that I appreciate your response. Take Care.

This is one of those, "you had to be there", but funny any way. At my house i have a huge toy box with toys for all the grandchildren. One thing there are several of, is hats, of all kinds. The other day 2 of my grand daughters, ages 2 and 4, came out of the toy room with hats on..........one was a kind of stovepipe thing in browns and the other was a darth vadar helmet. The funniest part was that the helmet was on the 2 year old's head UPSIDE DOWN as they were telling me they were pirates and saying "argh" with the "pirate" arm movements.
