Coca-cola, my energy booster...

Coca cola has been my energy booster since I am a child. I drink a lot of it more than I drink water. Luckily, I have a strong kidney that illness did not come sooner. During the time when I am studying a masteral degree, I used to open a litter of coke and a big can of cold peaches to keep me alive the whole night. And everytime, I am running low of energy especially when I am outdoor with the kids, I rushed for a cold iced coke. My former bosses shared the same passion for sodas, and that was a great excuse for me to drink a lot more. Until the time when I have to end up a habit, I become sickly and I could not even finish a days' work. At first, I thought it was a bad flu because I'm very weak and I just want to sleep all day. I don't feel any pain but I am becoming weaker everyday so I decided to go to the doctor. Because of the laboratory test, the doctor found out that I have a severe Urinary Track Infection. I am becoming weaker because I have low potassium. I have to drink a lot of water and medicines which opted me to stop a bad habit. As of today, I still drink coke but in a very low quantity. Are you also a soda drinker?

I do tend to drink alot of coke, i only drink cokecola as i do not like all the other brands that you can buy.I find that i will have at least two pints of coke a night at home of an evening while i am watching the tv.However i do not let my younger son drink coke as it makes him over active, as he has adhd, so i know what you are saying about the energy.

Yes, because of it's sugar content. I love coke too than any other cola brand, and the regular one, I don't like coke zero or diet cola.

I think soda, coke, pop, or whatever you want to call is the reason Americans are so overweight. People drink it every single day. I don't think that is very healthy. When I was younger coke was a treat. I only had coke once a year at Christmas. lol Can you imagine that? My mother always said that drinking pop would give me kidney stones. I had to drink water. My mother was no doctor but it somehow made sense to me. Pop is just caffeinated sugar water. Right?

I cannot remember drinking Coca Cola. I believe I have done, but its a long time ago. Its a fact that all soda drinks are poison, and will affect health if taken over a long time. I taught my children not to drink soda, or eat fast foods. We are a healthy family. I am 77 and am still gainfully employed. I believe my health is related to my carefully chosen diet!

Its been months now that I did not drink cola, but before no single day passed that I did not drink, it serves as my energy booster, as if I addicted too , I thought at first, I can't resist but I have to follow doctor instruction for long life living on earth ^_^
