Today I learn a way of making icecream at home. It is easy to learn and the icecream is as delicious as you buy from stroes. To start with, you have to freeze some fruit jelly. You can choose the taste of the jelly you like, such as strawberry or mango, etc. Freezing them until they are hard. And then, use your mixer to stir the jelly and make them into pieces. And then, poured some cream into the mixer and mix them together. Take these jelly out into a beautiful bottle of glasses. Just so easy, a delicious icecream is done. You can try it at home. If you want a good-looking the icecream. You can put some smashed chocolate on it.

Hi Betty I'm not sure I understand the procedure. Are you saying that you put the frozen jelly as one piece into your mixer then turn it on and have the mixer break it up? I'm also don't understand about the beautiful bottle of glasses. What exactly does that mean? Does the finished product look like ice-cream? If you could explain I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

sulsis, I'll bet Betty is using a blender. My grandkids use mine to make ices or snow cones. They blend the ice until it it very small and like slush then add some syrup. The bottle are probably fancy glaces..

I have one of those ice cream maker that you put the main bowl in the freezer over night and than add your ingredients It then has some blending blades that stir the cream and cools it into ice cream. I have been using it to make Italian ice for the kids after school. They really go for it. I'll go out on a limb and say that you are using a blinder to break up the jelly or jam. That does sound like a good idea.

Yum this actually sounds pretty good I'm gonna have to try it some time! Have you ever tried making snow ice-cream? It is pretty good too, though you'd have to make it when it snows. LOL.

shredding ice in a snow cone maker is just snow cones to me...no actually snow ice cream, it's something my grandmother used to make when I was a kid. I have the recipe somewhere. You go out when it has snowed (second snow because first snow is supposedly too dirty) and you take some snow and go mix it with like some milk and sugar and I think a couple other ingredients...this makes the snow sweett and creamy like actual ice cream. It is really good! I'll have to try to find the recipe if you'd like it...^_^
