I had watched the movie 2012. It caught my attention so much that I always try to research about it. My curiosity grows more and more especially in these days that natural catastrophes and man made killings and terrorism are happening all over the world which affects all nations. After the 2012 movie release last year the whole world was moved and researches about it uprise more and more. Today, National Geographic channel showed a documentary film about the 2012 prophecy and it introduces new ideas on the never ending search of truth on the end times. As I watched the documentary film a research made proved that the pole shift happened 800 years ago and is estimated to happen again in a million years time. The researcher concluded that a pole shift is not happening on 2012. But is that evidence surpass the many prophecies made by different persons in different generations and the events that happened recently? The unending war in Libya in which it now extends to the other parts of the Middle East such as Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the earthquake in New Zealand which took the lives of many Filipino Nurses, the death row in China, the Global Crisis which hit USA and the killer quake and tsunami which devastates Japan, are these events part of the Prophecy? Are these the ones written on the Bible(Matthew 24)?? Does these events signify that the world will really end in the year 2012?

I think that the most we can imagine is our life ending and not even that, many times. I don´t ask myself those questions anymore. The planet has changed a lot over thhe milleniums but, does it mean it ended every time? For dinosaurs it did. For Neanderthals, yes. The evens in Lybia and other man made disasters are nothing. But maybe each of us will have to define his own use of the words ·end of the world·.

Marguicha for you to be prepared you must first get closer to God. have a strong and intimate relationship with Him. You must first repent for your sins and acknowledge that you area sinner and let God enter your life. Let His son Jesus Christ be your Savior and Redeemer. You must also talk with God through your prayers and read His promises through the bible. Leave you past and Live for the Future.

in my own opinion these changes might be part of the long debated prophecy of the Mayans. end times do not occur sudden. it shows first signs that it will be coming and we do not know when it is. but we must prepare.

Coincidence all of these ! as a positive thinker I won't let myself believe apocalypse is coming. Even though I am ready to face anything.

yes, the world is ending in 2012. so, may i sugggest that we all live our lives to the fullest in the year we have left. dance, sing, love, eat, drink, be merry, enjoy. and if the world doesn't end in 2012, we will have had a terrific year. good luck to us all.

I agree with you that we must live life to the fullest may it be that the world ends on 2012 or not.. but i think it is more important that we meditate on the past years we have lived our life and ask ourselves if all that we have done glorify our Father in Heaven. And if i may add it is better to prepare for His coming than waste our time in things that can let us fall deeply in the pit of darkness.

I really don't think the end is coming anytime soon. But all the things happening today could make one think that perhaps the events are part of the prophecy. We just are not to know the time span. What will be, will be and only Gods knows the answer to that.

I agree with you dlpierce. All the events that happened can be a part of the prophecy. As you said God's coming is not known to any of us but to Him alone so I think we must be ready always and we must continue to obey God and to glorify Him and prepare for His second coming with or without this events.

Nobody will ever know for sure until December 21st. I hope that it doesn't happen. I have a lot of life ahead of me and want to enjoy it, and my daughter will only be a year old, and my son will only be 7. This isn't something that anyone can know will happen or not, and even if they did know, what are they going to do about it? You can't escape the earth.
