Good to know that you have got some humour left in your dried-up brains ... which can tickle funny bones of creepers hooked onto a pole in paddy fields! I cannot be that funny right from the first second you dare to make fun of stuff i seriously consider for! It irks me when someone does that ... as a result,i might end up with a couple of unpleasant words as i'm not that good. Well if you get so disturbed with those unpleasant words ... then why make fun of things i die for! Are you that immature to sort out if someone swears upon things in a serious way or the other way around ? Ever had to dealt with folks who never take things seriously ?

Funny bones of creepers hooked onto a pole in paddy fields. You mean to refer to my scare crow ? It does look more like that 'jeepers creepers' and boy i was wondering if it was just the wind or something else that made it move. Sunny, tell me it wasn't reacting to me, i am scared now.

Hi Sunny. I am not as amused by some things as many others are. I don't like humor that belittles other people, for example. I don't like practical jokes. But I do make people laugh. I think it is very immature when people insist on making a joke of something that another person considers distasteful. The ability to laugh at oneself may be an asset, but I think people should show some maturity and common sense about when they should or should not laugh at others. If someone is obviously trying to be funny, then please do laugh, but not at someone elses expense when they are obviously serious. That is unkind.

Hi Drannhh, May be its good to stay away from those kind ... someone who makes fun of you in the worse times isn't worth befriending.

Hi sunnycool! Glad to see you. I think there is a time and place for everything and there are alot of people that just don't know how to determine it. I have met people that make light of every serious thing they are faced with to be honest I think it's because they don't know how to take something seriously. It can be very aggravating when you are discussing something that means everything to you and someone treats it as though it is something to laugh about. I have known those people and for the most part I am able to ignore them but there are times when it burns me up!

Hi Jen, Its time for them to get into their damn minds that they have got no right to take things lightly to which they're not related to.

Me too I find it really irritating. Like being Vegan and really not liking jokes about animal suffering, it's just not funny. People who takes our most important subjects and make fun of it are actually very unhappy inside, they want to see others explode, become confused or make they feel any bad emotion, cause it's not enough to them be in this loneliness so they bother other people. Actually they are really poor people, we should never pitty cause most of the times is arrogant, we make people we pitty smaller, but in this case I really pitty these people, they are very small.

I do make fun of my friends and few selected folks but i have never crossed my limits ... certainly not to an extent where i make fun of their ambitions which would irk them for sure! I dont know if they're unhappy or insecure but having fun at the cost of others feelings is mean and disgusting in my opinion.

Someone ever told me, life is short, and why take everything seriously. No matter how serious the matter is, there's always a light side of it, and it's often missed by majority. People who doesn't take things seriously doesn't mean that they are immature. They are just looking at things in their perspective point of view. While every laughter or not taking things seriously, may hide a fact that's more serious than what others are facing. So, who are we to judge them when we don't even know the truth? Right?

Yup i do agree that there is a lighter side for everything ... what if that lighter side projects you to be one mean, lame person? you wouldn't hang in around right for longer and its never easy to take in critics in your worse times.

In this case humor is a shield people hide behind who cannot think of anything constructive. However those who can laugh at themselves live longer, happier lives.

okay..i am serious now... is that making me mature now? Sunny, there was a time that friends always guess that i am joking when i tell them my real problems. i was in a serious mode that time. but i can't blame them if they don't take it seriously cause they thought i never serious in life. now whose fault?

There is a time and season for everything...time to be funny...time to be serious. In your lighter moods and among close friends, sometimes you will be funny even without trying. Just be yourself. If a person is forever serious or forever trying to be funny, then I guess we cannot take that person seriously at all.

Your response wraps up things ... too much fun or too much seriousness can be intolerable.
