How is mid life crisis for men??? How and what are they thinking?

Hi, Recently, i was visiting a Medical Doctor in a private hospital. along my way at the lift, this Indian doctor greeted me and was saying regarding an insurance medical report, which is not my responsibilty. After my appointment with another doctor, I met him again at the car park. He was making small talks with me again and was asking me to join him for drinks. It was after 5pm and just across the road, there was a newly open pub which was already crowded. I obliged but I didn't refused as this could be a business apportunity.Moreover, I'm not a good drinker myself. We sat there for nearly 30 minutes waiting for the waiter to take our drinks. He got agitated because of the poor service but he didn't dare to show it to me. He was polite and then started getting a cigaratte to puff. There came a middle aged Chinese lady sitting next to him. He kept glancing at the lady next to her. later, he started talking about how much he love his wife and daughter which then, I complimented him for being a good husband and a father himself. He said, he have a good time that evening and did not want it to end. Later, he came out with a plan B, which is get 2 bottles of wine and a pizza and had the dinner at a hotel! Damn...I'm not stupid to agree isnt it? He said he is not going to do anything to me. But, in a hotel room???? Oh pleaseeeeee... So, the question is:- He's 54 years old. Is he in mid life crisis?????? How to determine them? why is he, being a prominent doctor, can also be a ...... (u know).....?? Any comments?????
