my wife just gave birth to a baby girl, as i have said before...
now, her mother who has been away for a very, very long time suddenly popped out and is there visiting them. She's happy, as my wife says, and is taking care of some things from for the baby.
interesting, the baby found and brought back "grandma" home.
she is a strange woman to me.. been wanting to meet her for al long time, but even in our wedding day, no mother came...
ever had such story? thought this is only in the fairy tales...
...now am getting worried about fairy grandma tales :P

This only proves that grandkids can make miracles.
I have almost same story like yours.
My mother disregarded me as her daughter when i marry my husband.
My family doesn't like my husband due to some reasons.
My mother never or any of my family show'd up on my wedding day.
I lost contact with my family the day i got married.
But...when i gave birth to my first child...everything went smooth again.
As if nothing happens,my mom called my auntie and asks me to come home and bring the baby.
Little angels can melt a rock heart for sure.

i hope the baby will help in some ways, but still i pray even when the baby's not with her, she will still love my wife...

Babies are indeed a blessing. If it wasnt for the baby then the mother in law would not be found. Thanks to the baby for reuniting a mother and a daughter and what's so good about this is that the daughter really needs the presence of the mother since she just delivered the baby.

I would be concerned as well. People who disappear from their own children tend to get over the newness of a new baby and disappear as well. The biggest thing to worry about is your wife's emotions when it happens. No matter what you say now will make no difference. The abandoned child within craves the mother's love and will drown out all your warnings. You just need to be there to pick up the pieces.
