I love coffee especially my own coffee mix drink. Since I want to know the health benefits of drinking coffee I have searched THE advantages and disadvantages of it. The caffeine in the coffee is said to be bad for the body, but others said that coffee is a good anti-oxidant. So my question is what health benefits coffee gives you inspite of having caffeine on it? do you care?

I am addicted to coffee myself. I doubt it has much in the way of health benefits but I love it.

Yes, coffee has health benefits!:) Check my other posts. But of course, it is not suitable for certain people, for eg., those who have gastric problem.

I love coffee too. I don't know too which is right, if coffee is really good for the body or if it is bad. Personally, I believe it's good because it has A LOT of antioxidants in it, but bad because it has sugars in it. Once a day is enough for me, I think the healthy amount. For me, one of the advantages of drinking coffee is that it's helping me to stay awake, to feel more awake and inspired and motivated to start the day. Every time I drink it before I get to work, I always feel motivated to start.

I like coffee but not that crazy at a point that I can't live without coffee. I like to have a cup of coffee int he morning to start off my day. I didn't drink any though when I was pregnant because of the caffaine does affect the developement of the womb so I stopped that for about 10 months.

Caffeine in coffee (& tea) is good for the heart. It also helps to remove oil from foods that you eat. Of course, there are also other benefits (from what I have read online and in newspapers). But I can only remember these two.

I LOVE coffee so the #1 health benefit is...it makes me happy and happy people live longer!! Hehehe I really don't believe that caffeine affects most people that strongly especially if you are used to it, medical studies seem to go back and forth on it so I give up worrying about the health benefits unless a health issue comes up where my doctor specifically warns me about it.
