Hello everyone, I have a very happy story I have never seen my dad, my mother only told me his name and where he lived; and she told me that several years ago. to make a long story short I have found him on facebook. I have also found people who went to the same elementary school as me..."this is so exciting, Facebook is awesome!" I will be seeing them this summer. Have you found anyone on facebook from your past or a family member you never met?

I have found people from my past (and my present too) on Facebook, and I wish never have found them (I'm talking about boys, of course LOL). But you are so lucky, Facebook could be a very useful tool sometimes. Congrats! :)

Hi. TazRes. That is very wonderful to hear about! How exciting that this must be for the two of you! I have found many people on Facebook. I still am looking for many friends and family members that I have not found just yet. A few of them may not have an Facebook account. I am glad that you have connected with your father. That is so wonderful! I hope that you enjoy your visit with him during this summer! Congratulations on your new discovery of each other!

Hi Cream97, Thank You. Yes I look forward very much to see him and my other siblings soon. Keep searching for your family members, because my first search turn up nothing it was the second search. He had started his facebook account 1 month before I found him...he said something told him to create one. You know Jesus said, "if you love and abide in him and believe in him he will give you the desires of your heart." And that's my testimony that God will do just what he says. Thank you for responding. Blessings!

Congratulations to for your happiness. I hope you and your dad will grow a healthy relationship. I have found a few friends from my past on Facebook. I've also made new worldwide friends there. The internet can be good to interact with people around the globe. Distance is not that important when you want to stay in touch with friends and loved ones. The very best of luck to you.

I have found many people I had lost touch with when I Moved far away. It is nice to "see" people on here when haven't seen them in a long time and most likely never would have with out it. Then again people who I would rather never found me ask to be my friend as well. How did you Dad take you contacting him sorta out of the blue like?

I am so happy for you. It is not easy to have just a sketch of your father in your mind. I laud you for trying hard to locate him. I have met a cousin through the Internet too. I was tasked by my sick aunt to locate where cousin is. I didnt even have his name, just the name of his sad. Anyway, I search and got a great number of people with his family name. I trimmed the search to the name of his dad. Blast! I contact all with sounds like and first name or second name sounding like his dad's name. Heaven thanks, one responded. He was the cousin we were looking for. My aunt was really happy.
