How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?

We are all different people who have different tastes and preferences. I like driving, and some of my friends hate driving. I am not particularly fond of pizza and much prefer to make my own meals using cheese. If everybody had the same things that made them happy, it would be very difficult to live in the world! _Derek

It is well known that there is no accounting for tastes.Like and dislike is mainly acquired,not innate.Marx said,People are the sum of all social relations.As people's experience differs in thousands of ways,no wonder that people have different interests.When it comes to person's taste,It has local color,For instance,here in China ,people coming from a few of provinces like to eat hot pepper.

Simple! You just can't please everyone. Individuality makes each of us unique, that's why. Cooking my favorite dish or my sons' favorite dish makes me happy. Baking a cake makes me happy too. Shopping for new home appliances also changes my mood to be more cheerful. And of course, drinking my favorite freshly brewed coffee makes me happy.

Hi santos mari chris: You are absolutely right. In fact I have learnt this lesson after some years. When I was a teenager I think that if someone doesn't find the things I consider cool they were wrong but now I know that people are diverse and that's actually a value. I am thinking about the music I've heard. For some people it's weird but I like it and it actually makes me happy to listen to my favorite bands. ALVARO

Actually i think we dont have much problem if other people dont give us problem. I would like to have more zest in life too.

Because we are all different? We all have different states of mind and different choices in life. Given that, i presume that happiness also do follow. After all, happiness is a state of mind and happiness is a matter of one's choice!

Everyone can look at happiness in a different way. Just because something make us happy doesn't necessarily mean it will everyone happy. We all have individual style and personality and want different things for our happiness.
