When I was ing college, one day I was late for my class so I tried to climb the stairs really fast and I fell, it was college and there were a lot of people around me...I know many people laughed at me but other helped me stand up and get my stuff from the floor. what happend when you fell? did the people help you or just laughed at you?

Hi,kwylima! Yup,I had those embarrassing moments as well.A couple of times.Oh,God!I can still remember a recent fall. It's a Thursday, which is usually my unlucky day.And I had classes at night. So I just stepped into the building and saw the elevator coming to the first floor. It's more like reflexive actions. You know, when we have classes in college, many people just wait in front of the elevator and sometimes you find yourself never get a way in with so many people crowded in the little box;so sometimes you just wanna rush into it ASAP.So that's what I did,I tried to rush into it and I just slipped with my high heels on.There is no people waiting for the elevator at all, which means there is no need to rush. And it's not like I was late for classes or something.Yet the most embarrassing thing is,there's one girl, who was walking at a normal speed, saw the elevator and just took her time.I just couldn't look up to see how she reacted to my fall. The one minute in the elevator seems to be the longest time I have ever had.

hi kwylima yes five years ago I was looking forward to breakfast and was sitting down beside my favorite testuarant catching my birthlI got up and walked up on a slanted rise in the pavement. I tripped over my own feet and down I went hard on my left shoulder. oh the pain sickening and I w as not embarrassed I was scared i knew when I tried to get to my feet by putting both hands down and pushing up my left arm did not work. I could not put any weight onit and I could not lift anything with it. I thought I had disclocated my shoulder. a dear couple called the paremedids and I was soon in the ER where they were sure Ihad broken my arm.. no x rays showed it was my shoulder. it was fractured or to put precisely smashed. it could not be set. They had to do surgery to replace my shoulder joint with a metal and plastic gizmo called shoulder joint replacement. I lost a lot of use of my left arem as a result of the surgery. so I can say I was hurt too badly to have any feeling ofs embarrassment just real pain and stark fear.Nobody laughed at me but I felt like a freak show as people just gathered to see if I had any blood I guess. My second fall was not my fault as some idiot had spilled a whole glass of water on the tile floor in front of the Gold Crest elevator. I slipped and lost my balance and fell haredc face down. broke my nose blaced both eyes and worst yet twisted my knew so badly I could not walk on it. spent 20 day in rehab hospital. still suffering some pain in that knee.I was embarrassed and scared as Iknew something was seriously wrong with my right knee.this time Kristine called the para mecis who lifte me to my feet but my leg collapse and they put me on the gurney.I am still recovering from the twisted tendons in my knee, if I had broken it I do not think it would have taken so long to heal. lol

I fainted once during a singing lesson. The instructor kept my from hitting my head and made sure I was okay. I'm glad I wasn't walking on the street or something. someone could have stolen my purse. It's good that you were at school, where people might want to help you.

I haven't fallen like that but since we're talking about public embarrassment, I slammed my forehead back then to a fire extinguisher which caused damage to the extinguisher's case. I was talking to a friend while walking away and when I finally faced forward I just saw a big red box and didn't have enough room to maneuver and slammed my head solid there.

I have fallen in public. One was with my husband; I was really on my knees. I saw him laughing during my time of humiliation. Just recently I was walking so fast to climb the stairs of the overpass on my way to work, I missed a step and I fell on my knees again. I hastily got up, not minding what others would think and off I walked as fast as I can.

People do have their own sense of humor when it comes to that, I have my own fair share too, I was in a hurry to attend a meeting in shool suddenly I tipped over the stairway then I slide back holding the railings as if I'm skydiving.

I sure have. I was running up the stairs to bring my daughter her lunch that she had forgotten. I had slip on shoes. One of them slipped off and I tripped up the stairs. All the kids were lined up outside with their parents. They giggle of course which is the natural way to react. Was I embarassed? You betcha! I shrugged it off though, continued on and left.

Yea! I've fallen in public before and it was a total mess. I was still quite small then and I was going back from the supermarket with my mother. I was pushing our small trolley and it went up a curb and somehow I lost control and fell forward and landed with my whole body on the floor. Those people just didn't help and continued walking and it made me mad and for a moment, I just wanted to kill those onlookers and passers-by.

OMG. This reminds me of how really embarrassing it was. Í remember then, I was already working and I'm onmy way home. I called a public cab which carries up to 10 passengers. And probably of wanting to be get in a hurry, I didn't notice a stone and I stepped on it that made me off balance. I don't know what happen, all I know when I opened my eyes, I saw the wheels of the cab. I got up hurriedly and pretend that nothing happened. But when I opened the door of the cab, everybody inside were staring at me. So really tried my best to maintain my composure. The driver said that he was wondering because he saw me but when he stopped, suddenly I disappeared. They were all startled when I appeared near the door of the cab, and that's the reason why they were all staring at me when I opened the cab's door. It was really a shameful scene. I tried to walked in a normal way when I got off from the cab. Though I know something is painful in my knee and I found a large bruise in it when I got home. That was really embarrassing. I endured the pain just to hide the embarrassment. I'm extra careful since then for I don't want it to happen again.

Falldown is ok for young people but bad fall by el - Falling is embrassing and scary.
Only few that i remember which is less than 3 times i guess and few of them while i was very young like small children, as adult i usully very careful where i step and where i cross the road , from young i walked alone in big streets and crossing big roads, hence from young until now i quite adapt in crossing streets and aware of pitfalls along the roads.

I had my few accidents of falling and or slipping. First I was a freshmen in high school it was a cold day, ice was still out and my silly self just walked right into the ice and I slid trying to keep my balance somebody yelled "don't fall" or something like that and everybody seen me slipping and sliding. Thankfully i regain my balance without falling. Another story, i was at my first job, just standing still, I was slipping and before I knew it I was on the ground lol it happened so fast. I've never experienced falling while standing up before, it hey it happens. Happened to me!
