It is common to find people taking digital pictures and posting them on facebook. On our latest travel where we had our photos taken while we do the zipline, instead of getting them printed, we opted to have 2 soft copies saved in our USB so we can upload them and post them on Facebook. I usually post our travel photos and my son's milestones. Do you do the same? What type of pictures do you usually post?

I do love to take pictures of anything, but not necessarily I have to upload it on facebook. It's fun to keep lots of memories especially when you are already old and would want to reminisce the events of your younger days. It's fun telling stories to your kids and grandchildren about that specific photo.

I don't print them because it costs a lot printing them. What I usually do is print only those that are very nice and very memorable and worth printing. Others are stored either in my usb or in my sisters laptop.

So do you have your pictures printed and placed in an album? My last album that I have done was during the first year of my son. I already have a back logged of 4 years. Most of our pictures are in digital form. I haven't got the time to have them printed and be placed on photo albums. I do agree it is nice to have them so we can show them to our grand kids someday.

I only have a few photos on face book, those are the ones that other people have taken and have tagged me in them and alot of those are blurred.I also untag myself from the photos that they have tagged me in.There are alot of people that take photo and put them on face book no matter what the photos are of.

I still haven't comprehend about the whole tagging thing. I just uploaded some pictures on facebook a few days ago and I haven't got back since. And when I opened my email I have several notifications about my cousin tagging me. I know facebook has been here for years, but I don't rave about it. Heck, I don't even know how to play farmville or cityville.

I think this not a good thing to tag photos with others in case of tagging without permission. friends should make a permission from other friend and then tag any thing. Do you Agree

Hi. sweet_pea. I usually post pictures of me and my kids. I also post pictures of flowers or a painting. I added a few new pictures to my profile and I love them. I plan to add more within a couple of weeks from now too.

Now that's the reason why your avatar is a flower. You just love flowers! So are you going to change your flower on your avatar soon? I like stargazers, lily's, tulips, orchids and roses. I really like the flowers my cousin grows in her garden in UK. And my friend who is in Scotland always take pictures of herself behind some flowers from there. They are really gorgeous flowers. I wish we can also have some of them here in our country.

No, I do not like to post my personal photographs in facebook. Sometimes, many people just like to show off their personal activities by posting their personal photographs in facebook. Some people do post their personal photographs for sharing with their friends in their past parties or activities. This intention is good and saving their time because any of the participants can download their photographs directly from the facebook. for me, I just loaded my certain properties' photographs to show the progress or the condition of the properties to my partners. By doing so, every of my partners can visit my album anytime and anywhere they want to.

I think that is taking advantage of the benefits of Facebook. It is also a great way to showcase your products or businesses.

I have a friend you is just like you. I am barely on facebook. It's my brother or my husband who uploads the picture for me. Facebook is banned at our workplace. Good thing, Mylot isn't so I am usually here during my downtime at work. I couldn't remember my friendster password anymore. So I haven't been there in years.

Nice to hear from you bhaby catch! It's okay you aren't the first to comment, anyway you are still on the first page. I experienced the same dear, I was to answer a couple of discussions yesterday, when Mr. Mylot here didn't want to accept my responses and he has put some reasons for not accepting it. I just give up. Fortunately, I was able to copy and paste already so I just copied the link and put my answers in Word and I paste it this morning. With your "HOT" pictures, have you ever considered possing for a magazine?

My friend is just like you. She likes to take pictures and upload them immediately on Facebook. I think Facebook is a good venue to get friend updates like where are they now, places they've been and what are they doing.

I actually do the same. I post pictures of myself and my family into facebook since I consider this as my online scrapbook. I'm a photographer by hobby and I also post some photos that I took be it landscape, seascape and other forms of nature in my facebook account. Facebook actually is a pretty nice tool to use as a scrapbook and a portfolio. Before I print the pictures, I make sure to save a soft copy to upload it on my account.

I agree. Facebook is my virtual album. I have more digital photos than actual printed photos. I just don't have time to print and compile them in an album. But I hope someday I can catch up with having a real album on hand and not just those on Facebook.

Hi,sweet_pea! Not really.I do take some pictures sometimes, but not solely for posting on Facebook.I don't have many friends on it anyway since Facebook is actually blocked in our country.Terrible.We do use another social networking site called Renren.I used to go there a lot and upload all my photos. But that phase has already passed.Right now,I'd prefer to take photos of the sceneries rather than of myself. And I usually just upload it to my computer.Maybe when I have a lot of friends on Facebook and go out often,I will start doing it again.

Wow! I didn't know that Facebook is banned in some countries. I also don't have many friends in Facebook. There is a handful of people inviting me to be one, even actual strangers but I just don't accept them. I am hardly on Facebook anyway. I am more active here at Mylot than on Facebook.

Funny thing with facebook and me, I don't use it much as I use too. I have mine on private so only offline friends and family are listed. However, there is this thing with the camera and I, I am forever taking pictures and am eager to upload them and put them up on facebook. Maybe it is a way of sharing a little of my happy moments with them, because outside of that I usually am not on it updating status or anything else. I enjoy taking pictures of any occasion really, it's a gathering and I photographing. So much fun to upload them and see all the replies there after.

I am rarely on Facebook too. I am much more active here on Mylot. My brother or my husband usually upload the pictures. I really haven't caught in the frenzy of Facebook. I only share my photos with my friends and not for everyone to see. I only share it to those who I really know personally.

I haven't updated my photos in a long time. And when my brother came, he has so much free time in his hands that he updated my Facebook page. It is nice to look at the pictures of friends and relatives because even if they are living far away from you. Somehow Facebook bridges the distance.

I like to take pictures of my children, but I don't really like to share them on Facebook. Most of my friends on facebook are game friends and I hardly know them that well to share my personal life with them.

Yes you are right its is common to take pictures for facebook. I think facebook and sitetalk and other social networks are best place to save your memories and share among others. taking pictures of your travel is more interesting because travel pictures also gives knowledge of different places and awareness about areas. Keep it up

I agree. I think Facebook is a good venue to know what's going on in the lives of our friends and acquaintances just by looking at their pictures. Currently I have more digital copies of my photos rather than printed ones.

I do post pictures on facebook...mostly family photos that I share with everyone in my family since my brother and sister and all my nephew and neices and my own kids and grandkids have facebook pages...that way I can post it one time and not have to send the photo to so many!

I hardly know someone my age who doesn't have a facebook account. Even my family is connected on facebook. I see my cousins abroad and get updated with their activities on facebook. I think that is being frugal of you. You hardly pay on printing these pictures and find time distributing them. You just send them on facebook and let them do the printing if they want.

Not intentionally for FB posting, but for memories and souvenirs of events and places that we've been. I always try to have prints of every photos that i've taken. Posting it in Fb or other sites are just optional,or for friends to updates, but the photo session is not all intended for FB postings.

I still need to find time to print them and place them in a nice album. I only have digital prints of them and they are starting to pile up. The last album I have finished is for the first year of my son. He's turning 5 this May. I need to catch up on 4 years of photos.

Facebook is social networking for sharing and spyi - MAde sure the material posted are public.
I usually post things that are funny and candid on the spot usually i don not include my face.Look unusully long turd or the pet python swallowing a big rat, or some lizards on the wall mating, or dog get stuck while making love and such, usually something nice and interesting like changing of rooftop or water heater and such, sometime natural freak like lighting or hail storm is nice to take pictures too.

Well yeah sometimes. Depends on the photos. In my job, I am one of the admin in one of our fan pages in facebook and whenever we would do some volunteer work or relief operations/assisyance, we would actually post it rightaway, you see it is for documentation and information purposes. But among friends and having some fun, it depends, probably random. We take a lot of photos during parties and remember having snapshots of ourselves days after the actual event. We're probabkly not into it very much, but well we do enjoy seeing our craziness uploaded on fb :)

When I am online on Facebook, I sometimes check on the photos of my relatives who I haven't seen in a long time. And I was really amaze when I see the pictures on my cousins, nieces and nephews. They seem to grow a lot bigger than the last time I have seen them.
