My husband works a job that keeps him gone 45 days at a time , and comes home for 10 days .I get stressed because of the things I cant get done, and he dont feel like doing when he is home. Does anyone else out there have to deal with that?

Hi jeanena! You need to learn to cope up and do things in your husbands absence. There are working woman like me who manages a home and work perfectly. You need to get things done on your own.

I do things in my home on my own for the most part. I am sure there are things that you cant get done on your own with out help from someone else. And believe me I worked for years out side of the home, and came home from work and took care of most everything. That is with cooking and cleaning for 5 kids and an adult male that liked his computer and tv very well.It is only in the last year that I havent worked.

Well i guess that can't be helped prehaps the new high technology like Video calls might help your relationship with your husband yea ...But i think you all need to spent sometime to bond with each another yea ... or else the marriage could be in danger yea

We havent been having any problems other than he is tired and just wants to be able to rest when he is home on break. We have survived alot of things over the last 19 1/2 yrs. I hope we will make it at least that many more.

Is he a truck driver? Mine has done that as well and I just pretty much did everything on my own. Sorry it is that way for you.

Well I learned to do a lot of things myself as my Ex Husband would not do anything as such I had to wait weeks or Months for him to do something round the Place so I learned in the end to do most things myself which I am so grateful that I did But I do understand you and I know how frustrating it can get

I had to really learn how to do things on my own, we cant usually afford to have work done by other people. The kids and i can handle most of the things that come up. But when he is home , He has started helping more.
