What's in your manga collection?

Anyone who has read manga know that most manga come in more volumes because after all, it is a comic book. But unlike most comic books, they are continued stories divided into sagas and are all written by the same author or group of authors and usually don't change. Because of that, there can be as many as 1-50 volumes or it can go on even more! What I want to know is what's your manga collection? Is it big? Or small? Do you buy it? Rent it? Read scadalations (scans and translations) online? What? My manga collection is kinda small. Dr. Slump Vol. 1-4 Dragon Ball V. 7 Dragon Baal Z V.5 Ouran HHC V. 1-2 Fushigi Yuugi Viz Big V.1-3 And maybe a few more!

My manga collections.... Monster : 18vols. 20th - 21st Century boys : 25vols. If I'm not mistaken. Pluto : 8vols. Gintama : 1-33 still ongoing... Samurai X : 28vols. Fullmetal Alchemist : I have only 1-19 Saiyuki : 9vols. Saiyuki Reload : 10vols. Saiyuki Gaiden : 4vols. XXXHolics : 9vols ongoing... Daemon Hunter : 15vols. +Anima : 10vols. Shaman King : 38vols. Houshin Engi : 23vols. Blade of the immortals : 27vols ongoing... Rocketman : 10vols. Deadman Wonderland : 7vols. Damons : 13 vols. Pandora Hearts : 7vols ongoing... Q.E.D. : 31 vols ongoing... C.M.B. : 11 vols ongoing... Eleven Soul : 7 vols ongoing... Kurosagi Delivery Services of Corpse : 12vols ongoing... Gunnm : 9vols. The Revenge of Time : 34vols ongoing... and miscellaneous.... I think I have the total mangas around 450 vols. Might look like sooooo many, but the real fans might get to the total vol of 1,000. (My friend, for example.)

Well, I wouldn't say "real fans" because we are all real fans. Just some people are die-hard Otakus. But still, I've never even met someone close to 450 volumes of manga but I don't get around a lot so I still think that's so cool! Wow, it looks like you like a lot of Shounen. Cool!

Ha ha true! As you said that we are all real fans. :) And yup, my friend is someone you would have to call "an otaku". Yes, most of mangas I read are shounens. ;)

I don't really have a collection. Never had one. But I love reading mangas. I read it online. I only have a list of it. I don't buy mangas ... the book ones because I find it as a waste of money when I'll actually just read it just once. :D

Lets see my collection includes Fallen Vampire 1-6, Arata Vol 1, Demon Sacred Vol 1, Sakura Hime 1-3, Bride of the Water God 1-4, Alice 19th Vol 1-4 and Ceres Vol. 1. I keep telling myself I need to finish at least one series before I begin another one, but I always start one that looks interesting to me.

Hi rinakitto, welcome to Mylot! I think I'd be here for a while if I were to list every manga in my collection. I've been collecting for almost 10 years now and the last time I checked I had close to 600 volumes of just manga. But I've actually been cutting back on buying new series. I want to complete the ones I already have before getting more. Just off the top of my head, here are some of the series I own. Mars [1-15, complete] Kodocha [1-10, complete] Remote [1-10, complete] Fullmetal Alchemist [1-23] Prince of Tennis [1-17] Eyeshield 21 [1-24] Vampire Game [1-13] And that's just some of the ones that I own more than 10 volumes of.

Wow that is so cool! I think it just awesome when people have so many manga volumes. And it's great that you have been collecting for so long!
