My mother has begun selling avon and she is doing really well for orders. I couldn't believe how many boxes of products were dropped off to fill her last order!! they say some products there are even one sold every second around the world. So do they have avon in your country ?? Do you also indulge in the great savings available!! I have so much make up and beauty stuff since mum statred over $300 atleast... lol

I have actually not only tried Avon but I sold it as well. I even made it all the way up to President's Club. The perks were very nice. I have since stopped since I moved to another state. I do love avon products especially their lipliners. Another reason I love Avon is that they give anyone an opportunity to grow a business for themselves!! The upfront cost are not rediculous like some other cosmetic companies. The more you put into your Avon business the more you will profit. The opportunities are endless. The best part of be an Avon Representive that I can remember is the fun you can have. I hope your mom enjoys it as much as I did and hope she makes it to President's Club!!!

Yes we leave pretty remote so alot of the products aren't easily accessable and now available at great prices delivered to their door and people our loving it!! She did make top 10 sellers in her district!! but she was 10th.. lol but thats still a great effort and encouraging to keep at it.

Now she isn't quite a multimillionaire lol She is just making a nice profit above costs! She doesn't get alot of money in each ordr so the work is very time consuming for the money and the upfront costs are always recouped but not necessarily a profit! She is an avonaire though with products coming out of her...

Well my mom used to sell avon products for a hobby so I have used some of their products. The only product I remember using was the lotion and the skin moisturizer which is great but will make you sweat if you use to much.

Makes you sweat? I have never heard of this what do you mean? I use other products for skincare but i am open to suggestion I just havn't tried them yet! I have used the advanced max all in one samples but have never purchased the products. I use Avon clearskin cleansing products. It's a great 3 step program and is the avon equivelant to proactive.

I'm a user and seller too. Avon is a good option to earn more. Instant earning and instant freebies. I love it! Since high school I am selling and using their products. Not only me but most of our family members.

Yes i don't think you could really live on the money unless you were selling to alot of richer people who adored avon!! heheh also you would have to do it fulltime each day of the week and make enough money from your orders to cover the upfront costs that this would incur. I think avon is a great opportunity for young families who are finding it hard to make ends meet but don't want to go back to work.. hehe i don't know why because my mother doesn't fit into this category at all she is 50 ahaha

I did Avon back when being a rep you got a lot of the stuff free then I saw the changes that you had to pay for everything and you were not making as much. I liked Avon but then when they started changing a product you really liked to use or even a hair brush, I no longer use them. guess I am a revlon, maybelline girl LOL

My mom used to sell Avon. She liked it, but I think it was more trouble than it was worth for her. She always had a full time job though. I've always wanted to try Avon, but I'm not sure how much time I can dedicate to it. I'd rather try that than some of the other companies, like Mary Kay. With Mary Kay you have to hold parties. For Avon, you can just hand out brochures. Their reputation is so good, it's very easy to sell.

Yes my mum is also doing other work so it isn't her sole income. I think she does ok but most the really great specials you make so little on it does at times seems like more work than payoff. She does enjoy it and so do alot of her customers!

I have tried, mostly makeup. When it comes to skincare, I prefer more reliable products, something that my dermatologist recommends. I don't really trust in Avon skincare, they don't even show their ingredients list. But I do like their makeup, they have very good makeup, I have a mineral blush from Avon that I love it.

i sold avon for 10 years, starting when my first daughter was born and really liked it and the only reason that i quit was that my daughters grew up and i got a part job outside of the house. i still buy their products all the time.

I actually love Avon! There's something wonderful about being able to just look in a catalogue, order whatever you like and then have the products delivered straight to your door! I spend far too much on it, as well. My Mum brings a catalogue home from work, and I must spend at least £50 per month every time we get the book. I love the nail varnish and the bath bubbles. I also have a charm bracelet from there, too, and have to buy myself a new charm practically every time I get a book.

I have several family members who sell and I rarely ever buy anything from them. Occasionally one of them bombards me enough to buy a few sale items online but that is it. I am not into make up and what not nor do I feel the need to have everything.

that's hard work! i must say, selling is really hard at times. specially when people just don't need your products. but then, i think makeup is all part of every woman specially those who face different people all day in their office. so it's easy to sell to those people rather to those who are just staying at home. do you agree? well, it also depends on how people appreciate or show the product to others. i guess you mother, as being top seller, is now earning full income, even if she is working part time doing that. my family and i are users of avon products but we do not sell those. we never did tried selling it. we just use, i think we do not have selling abilities.

The specials and bulk buys deals really help to bring in orders i have noticed. I think my mother is doing really well, we live in a small local community and people aren't really into change around here so i am glad it has been going so well, its encouraging.
