my embarrassing mistake today

I had to hurry to the grocery store as I needed a few things but as it turned out my car's battery was dead and since hubby was sleeping, I decided to take his pickup........
I put on my clothes and hurried out and got the old diesel started and hooked it on down to the store.
I couldn't make my keys stay in my pocket right..........I made a quick glance around me and darn it ! I'd put on my pants backwards! 
I hoped nobody noticed and guess they didn't 
but I got out of there mighty quick!
Have you ever been in such a hurry that those slip on pants went on backwards or is it just me??

I do not ever remember putting my pants on backwards. I can imagine that it would be very funny if I did though. I have gone out with my shirt on backwards trying to get out of the house in a hurry.

carol our second in command in the library ofter came to wo rk with a dark navy blue pump and a black pump.we teased her and she c ame up with a quip I have another pair just like them at home. right.

As I read these funny responses, I find we all have done our share of embarassing things.
It's not embarrassing if you think about it. It's a wonder some of us find time to get out of bed in the mornings ! I know I do LOL
Just be glad it was your shirt and not your pants you FORGOT :)

LOL That's funny quita! LOL I've done that too with my pajamas because I can't stand the tags that they come with. It digs into my skin and drives me nuts! So I cut them out and then don't know which is the front or the back till I put them on. If they feel baggy in the front then I know that's where my big butt goes so I take them off and put them on right. LOL Ahhhhh now they fit!

I usually get the shirt on wrong side out, or backwards, or both.
That one will keep me chuckling for some time.
I've never done that but I have once or twice worn my shirt inside out. @quita88 (3715)

Hi there~ well, as I finally get to read these responses, I find a lot of us make the same mistakes LOL I too have gone places with different colored socks on!
My last embarrassing one was just two days ago, I had company coming and needed to buy some groceries and forgot to put my top plate in.............drears!
And, just now my hubby left for the casino and came flying back in and said to me "ok, so laugh at me........I didn't put either my top or my bottom plate in ......."
I had not taken time to look at him as I was busy when he left but lo and behold, he did look funny but I dared not laugh in his face LOL

LOL. I have so done this. A week or so after having my daughter I was so exhausted and my hubby wanted me to run to the store with him. So I just through on my sweat pants and got in the car. While in the store I went to put something in my pocket and realized that my pants were on backwards. All I could do was laugh, my husband looked at me like I was crazy, then I told him that my pants were on backwards. It was really funny. I have done this with shirts amazingly too.

LOL, I am so glad I'm not the only one to put their pants on backwards LOL I too found it funny that I couldn't get my keys and found the pocket going BACK instead of front :)
I was glad I had on a long top too.
I am sure your hubby thought you were crazy too.
And, all in all it is funny and boy is it good to know I am not the only one !!

hi quita okay once more first two sentences flew off. I was in such a hurry one morning to do my grocery shopping as I had an afternoon doctors appointment., so I dressed, combed my hair, locked up and was on my way to the two blocks to trader Joes. I met and passed several people who smiled and spoke to me. one gave me the oddest look but I just was in such a hurry I did not try to find out why,.okay I get to the mini mall and am almost to Trader Joes. a lady in a rolls royce pulls up beside
and beckons to me come over here miss she cried. then she whisperd oh my dear your denim skirt is caught up in its waistband so you underpants are showing. I turned red and thanked her as I yanked down my offending skirt hem. oh my G I thought all those people were laughing and I did not know why , why could not any of them stopped me as I did not know I was showing all my butt to the public how embarrassing in more than one way.

I bet you check your skirt in the mirror before you venture don't you??
Oh good Lord, I thought mine was bad but to show your bottom and no one would take the time to tell you?
That is rude.........I don't think I could let that one go!!! I 'd have to stop you like that lady did !
