It's a fantasy/horror based on Irish folklore. Search for Kickshaw Candies by R.K. Finnell on amazon.com. Comes in both print and Kindle. Read the reviews while you're there. Here's the blurb: The town of Baile seems to be just a small town with ordinary people until Teagan O’Brien opens an unusual candy shop. Something ancient and buried begins to awaken in the people when they consume his sweets. They remember a life they had long ago left behind becoming their true selves, and a maleficence awakens that had been locked away in forgotten memories. Out of those memories comes the truth of what brought them to the world of humans and the path back to the place they call home. The path to their salvation depends on three of their human-born children, who are thrust into a future of uncertainty as each one discovers the truth behind the people of Baile and the secrets locked within their own bodies and Only these three have the ability to overcome the evil that threatens to corrupt and dominate every living creature, to save not only their kind, but humanity itself.

Hello jlopez07, I really like the books of Dan Brown, so I recommend you his books. I have read "The Da Vinci Code", "Digital fortress", "Angels and Demons" and "Deception point". I received "The lost symbol" this days and will start reading it soon. So if you like thrillers with interesting history elements read "The Da Vinci Code", "Angels and Demons" and "The lost symbol", but if you like techno-thrillers read "Digital fortress" and "Deception point". I hope you will like them :)

It depends on what genre you enjoy to read. I like book by Catherine Cookson, Harlan Coben, Chris Ryan, Leslie Thomas they really catch the reader with excitement completely.
