Taking pictures can be a beautiful thing what do you people tink makes a great picture?

Girls Softball Game - In this photo you see the ball is clearly on the ground and the runner should be safe but what the umpire saw was the fielder with the ball when she started to make the tag but did not see the ball fallout. I was able to capture that right moment. To me this is a great photo but to others it is a good shot because they don't study the photo to see the details.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder is a saying that applies here. I might think it is a great photo because I caught that one little action that makes the picture just what you were trying to capture.

The great picture is a composition of many elements. You have to catch the moment, to make a good composition, to have some imagination, to use a cool camera, there is a feeling factor, an expression... There are many factors and of course one picture can be very great for you, but not that much for me or any other photographer.
