Bad accident at the intersection.

I went outside to put the recycling bin at the road and saw a bunch of fire trucks at the intersection.
There were 2 tow trucks as well, 2 ambulances and several police cars. I decided to walk to the intersection to see what had happened. I'm sure if the window was open, I would have heard it.
There was a horrible car crash there, 2 cars had collided with each other, looked like one had tboned the other. The car was a write off.
The driver of that car had to be extricated onto a back board with a neck brace on as well.
The people from the other car I don't know about, it looked like a passenger was being treated, but I never saw a driver.
Traffic has been tied up and will be for a while while they figure out what happened and who's at fault.
I'm just glad it wasn't more serious than it was, it really could have been worse considering how busy the intersection can be.

hi,
thats why stop lights are really important especially at the intersection to avoid accident of both vehicles,lack of this tools really make the road prone to accidents.its really a bad accident.but its an accident just be alert and be careful in driving.

hi kris I hate people texting on cellphones on the freeway and now theres a law that they cannot hold the damn phone so must have a gadger that holds the phone for them. all started because as stupid woman driver steered her car with her elbow while driving and talking and texting on her cell phone. She lost control of her car collided with anothe car, which collided with another until ten vehicles were involved. four people were killed outright. Six were badly injured,and the rest had minor injuries .we sat and waited for hours as the paramedics and ambulances did their thing. then tow trucks and police cars. we were four hours late
getting here to Gold Crest.Luckily I had snacking material in my room as the kitchen was closed down by the time I got here. Our little access bus was of course not involved in the accident agt all.

I lived near an intersection once that seemed to have more than its share of traffic accidents. It was before the days of cell phones and people often came to my apartment to call the emergency numbers. There were times when I just called it as soon as it happened. I hope everyone is alright from your local accident.

hello kris,
Most accidents really happens with intersection esp when there's no traffic enforcer posted in such place.
Some drivers are too reckless that no matter how the other drivers are taking care when they are driving..if the other drivers are reckless..accidents happens.
Hope it's not that worst...people really have to face situation like that before they learn their lesson.

Gosh, it was like accident happen around every corner, some people simply slip off their mind, and a big collision can happen. So, advice on all drivers, drive carefully, and look around your driving area. Even though you are not mean for any accident happen, you should keep in mind that, other people might not be that careful.
