I Want To Bid GOODBYE……..I Just Can’t

Hi Mylotters,
This past months I’ve been through lot of situation here there are times I really want to say Goodbye at Mylot( I will not delete my account okies I am not that kind of person even in other social networking I just let my account inactive) In my five (5) months stay here I can say this site is really wonderful and the members too except the negative rater and troll 
.
I can’t remember how many times I tried not to log in in my account but I always find my reasons to stay here plus I don’t want my friends to worry or be bother about me, I had fun here this site is my outlet I can be whoever I want, I can say whatever I want to say in short I am just darn good to be true here though some doesn’t like my existence here, through this site I found new set of friends and if the 2nd Conference will pursue I know my list of friends will increase soon.
I am thankful to those people who gave me enough reason to stay here even I want to say Goodbye your motivations and guidance are enough for me to stay here, I don’t need to mention your names you know who you are your existence here will be enough for me to stay and enjoy this site as much as you do.

in the past years i'm with mylot, i've left and return every now and then to focus on other areas of my life. balancing field work that entails weeks and even months of travel plus being tied to a desk job for longer hours than i remember... well the virtual world seemed some sort of an escape and a form of relaxation.
however, i have lost the inclination to start discussions when i experienced a great setback in one area of my life. but i found a few friends here who helped me recover and push thru that dark cloud until the storm had passed. now i'm just happy enough to respond to a select few discussions and read some others that are funny and nice even if i could not contribute to it at all.
what keeps us at mylot is much stronger than a troll or a negative rater. our reasons for staying keep us motivated. very likely, as long as we can still find enough reason to smile, laugh, learn and be with friends, we'll enjoy the site more and we'll think of goodbyes less.

Hi Dear bhabycatch! I really don't understand what makes one to think so? Why any one should leave such a relaxing, entertaining , educational, informative and caring forum at first place? We should remember that Mylot is a family comprising more than 228650 members as on today! With this many number of members we are bound to have some difference in the opinions. And the fun of this forum is to clear the differences either by convince your opponent by your views or getting your self convinced by the views of your opponent!
If one starts taking every thing at personal level then it would be difficult for one to stay on this forum! One should be sportive and try to understand the temperament of the discussion before responding, to have a healthy atmosphere!
Well at the end , since now you have got some reasons to stay on the form, I am happy that you are not leaving or bidding good bye to this site! So please participate vigorously on the forum and have a nice fun filled time! Thanks for the discussion and all the best!

Mylot is addictive for two serious reasons; It does pay you, and it's not a waste of time.
If you compare this to face book and other social network sites, the money doesn't come back to you when ever you use your internet and pay the bill. the so called popular facebook and twitter doesn't pay you for the time and bill of expense just for you to have fun. they say it's price less, but it can be boring. but not with mylot, you can't get bored and leave it for long.
Negraters are nothing if you ignore them. besides, we, veterans had it worse so you're just plain lucky when you joined. even sis jaiho didn't experience those monsters.

I am glad that you have caught the "bug"...the "myLot bug" and once infected, always infected! It is acceptable that life and times dictate, sometimes, that you are not able to be active here...but truly, do not believe that is a reason to say "good-bye!" Have a healing hiatus..your friends here will wait for your return!
I also see..you are sporting a BLUE star, with a #10...so whomever has been your "negative rater" or "troll" has really NOT done damage to your reputation..so rejoice! I think it was about your # that I had an attacker here, too...rode out the storm and am glad I did! You are an important part of this community and your input is valuable. I don't have an idea if i have a negative rater or troll here if ever there's one or more i don't mind them last week it was blue then turned red and just few days ago it was blue again LOL..........

I don't see the reason of all these people saying goodbye to something that would still be here after a few months or years that you'd be away from it. I mean, this is a virtual world and you are not required to come here every moment in time and I'm pretty sure nobody would really notice it when you leave.
I have been in this thing for a long time now, and there will be months when I can't login because of my job and there will be times when I just don't feel going online - does it matter? No, not really.
So take it easy, just leave for a while if you don't feel like doing so, and rest assured that this will be here when you decide to come back.

You have a point there real and virtual life of mine are both important because I made not just a friends I made another family through those people who I met on virtual world and actively participated in my real life.

The feeling is the same for me. Rather than waste my time on inutile activities such as procrastinating or gossiping, I feel that somehow I am of help to somebody here. Mine might not be the greatest of ideas, but at that moment when someone needs a somebody to relate to, I hope I could make a difference. People pour out their heartaches and headaches and pain here, unabashedly. I sincerely remember then in my prayers, because I know that they need it.
bhaby, I am almost blabbing explaining... you know what I mean.

I would personally be sad, to be honest, you're one of the few people who are nice enough to have time with me even with the smallest chat. Even Mommy doesn't even chat with me before the conference last year, she chatted with knowing we started talking to each other. i believed things will part ways if you leave mylot.
I have attempted to say good bye, but i can't leave here, it's where i feel safe for some reason.if i feel safe, then so do you. if you're in trouble, you got my back.
As for the Second conference, i think that's really gonna take me a lot of thinking. since the construction is gonna take a lot longer than expected.

Everyone feels that way at some time or the other here and when that happens one stays away for a while but there are good reasons to get back. The good reasons outweigh the bad reasons. But what you feel is natural and you should take these things in your stride.

I felt this way early in my membership here where I was ready to go a few times. Then I think about the many wonderful members here who motivate me daily that I want to also be that same person for others. It is a great site for all of us to share experiences and apply humble advice.
I agree with you that if someday I have the urge to go away I will not inactivate my account because myLot thankfully does not delete accounts so as long as we are in good standing.
I enjoy daily when I see discussions about 1 - 3 year old returning members, it continue to affirm the many that truly enjoy the site.
