mylot wont stop sending me emails

i unchecked all the boxes in the notification part of my preferences. but mylot still keeps on sending tons of notification emails everyday.. this was not like this before, in fact mylot dont send me anything. it was until i put a check on a box so that im able to see "mature content" help you guys....

Hi please do as suggested. It will help you with your problem. It must be your friend notification that keeps sending you emails. Good luck!

The responder above is right that you need to go to each individual friend on your list and turn them to off. The only emails we cannot avoid are the violation notifications because those will come no matter what. Should not be many, if any at all.

hi tammy wish this was not so but you also have to turn off each friend separately in your friends list if you have a small list will not take long if you have a large list it will take longer. just hit off on each one.This way its guaranteed you will not get any notifications.

That is annoying to have to do each one individually! I think it's easier just to ignore and delete all the emails, it only takes a few seconds. But i don't have a lot of friends yet, so i guess i don't really know, i suppose it could be a lot worse

First I would go to the link I have provided below and make sure all is unchecked that you don't want to get. If you look at the bottom of this page there are three Mylots links that your computer probably automatically put on as contacts so it would pick up anything coming from those. If you make sure those are deleted you shouldn't get any more notifications from Mylot.

I used to get them too, until I unchecked the notification of my friends. I do have a few them that I keep checked, as they don't post all that many discussions anyway. There are some users that post one discussion right after another, and that is why you get so many notifications. Once you uncheck them, they will stop. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Have you also enabled 'notify is off' in your friends list? If not then whenever they start discussions you will get a notification.
