These are the churches I know that teach gender equality --- Bahai Faith and Unitarian Universalism and then, nothing else. There are thousand of religions all over the world and I would like to know if there some list of churches that teach gender equality. I would not include Catholic church... ha ha I read in Unitarian Universalism that they have gender equality and not only that, most of the people in that church have equal rights. All of them so that is why I am still wondering if there are churches that also promotes equal rights and gender equality... not only gender equality, but also racial equality.

What do you consider "gender equality"? Would you require women in the priesthood for it to qualify? Is what you call "gender equality" a deal killer to you? Would you accept truth, even if it didn't include your definition of gender equality? I don't ask these questions to be offensive, I'm just interested in what you believe.

If you're not Catholic, you are a Protestant? I'm Christian, but neither Catholic or Protestant.

Well said Adoniah. Mind if I ask? You said you are not a Catholic, so, you must be a protestant. I'm just curious whilst I was reading your post on top of this. You may or may not answer this but I would appreciate it more if you could answer this. Thanks!

There is a church that teaches equality rights and races. This is the church established by the LORD JESUS while HE was here on earth and this church has grown all over the world. This church is a full gospel church that preaches the teaching of the LORD JESUS, salvation and holiness.

Oh. I did not know that Baptists and Methodists promote gender equality too. I read on the internet about each religion's description [I forgot the URL link] that says Unitarian Universalism and Bahai Faith has the description of gender equality. These are the two religion I read that promotes gender equality and nothing else, but I did not know that Baptists and Methodists also promote gender equality. He he he

You are right about the older orders of the basic faiths not being very gender equal. However, branches of these faiths are stepping up to the plate and are attempting to even out the differences, yes even the catholic church is opening up the idea of ending gender bias. Women are taking a more active role in services etc.( I am not catholic). Most christian churches have pastors of both genders. Those who have hierarchies now have female bishops (except catholic). There has even been a gay bishop. In Judaism, the Reform and Conservative Sects have Rabbis of both genders. In the Diaspora, anyone who knows the service and is over the age of 13 can lead the service and read Torah. There is no hierarchy in the Diaspora. Even the Orthodox Sect has ordained one woman as a Rabbi. It is a step... In Israel, things are more strick, but it is changing.

Im not sure what you really meant about this ''gender equality'' aspect. However, based on what I understand, almost all the Christian churches teaches equality among all people regardless of gender, races, and status of life. we are fair in front of God. I want your respond also please so I can share more..
